  • Poriyal or Veg curry is a typical side dish served with rice in a South Indian menu.
    These are healthy, easy and dont take much time. A variety of vegetables are used to get the goodness of nutrients.
    The 7 Poriyals/Sabjis are
    1 Beetroot Poriyal
    2 Raw Banana Poriya
    3 Cabbage and Carrot Poriyal
    4 Chow chow/ chayote Poriyal
    5 Beans Poriyal
    6 Vendakai/Bindi/ladys finger Poriyal
    7 Potato Poriyal

    Please add1/2 tsp Sambar powder to the bhindi / ladys finger sabji while cooking Seems to have been missed out while recording ! 😊

    Ma'am, I used to watch your cooking channel and I like your recipes very much. But today I want to share a tip with you. That, after cutting raw banana, immediately wash it and immersed it into water with pinch of turmeric powder. It's colour will not become blackish.

    Love your tips too.espcially when you book patatoes make a slight slight around before boiling.
    I tried it n it's much easier.no burning your fingers or waiting for it to COOL

    Aunty as usual your videos and ur cooking skills are next level love it alternatively , my mom use to do cabbage palya (sabji) like this grind mustard seds ( raw) grated coconut,dry rosted menthya , green chillies turmeric ,corriander leaves, little jaggery ( like dry masala),n den add tadka in pan pour oil, add channa n urad dals vry little mustard, hing, once dals turnd golden add grinded masala after few minutes when raw smell goes off add cabbage sequeze tamrind water (which is soaked in water), cook inlow flame . It taste good specially for ppl who don't like cabbage.
