Cool idea, it blends well with the rest of your house.
If the top 2x4s were an inch or two shorter you could top the 4x4s with those solar caps which would be nice for nighttime and would reduce the amount of water going in the end grain of the 4x4s.
Good thought!
Nice build. Be careful with the rock base as they tend to migrate, and a lawn mower can fling them. I had that happen to me and busted a window in my sunroom. Thanks for posting.
Thanks! I make sure to always blow away from the house
Amazing work! Your skills are truly impressive!
Thank you!
I think that door handle is updated down. Love the home improvement!
Haha I looked at it both ways and liked it better this way😂😂
For the "floor" of the shower, you mentioned pavers. I know I've seen some pre-built wood bath mat kinda things that basically look like fancy pallets. That would kinda keep your feet up out of potentially puddling water and might be a little more comfortable as well.
Thanks for the suggestion I'll definitely look into that 🤘
That's exactly what I was thinking.
funny I was thinking some sort of hard wood for a floor mat as well
@@Kordareyeah the wood pallet thing looks cool and comfortable but I would be scared snakes or other unwanted guest could set up camp under it🤦🤦🤦Cement paver sounds good .just something you could inspect quickly before jumping in 🤦🤦🤦🤦
Have you been using it much???
The cross brace on the door is backwards. Bottom should be on the hinge side. If I could make a suggestion, recess the brace into the door and tin the inside too.
You did a great job really looks good.
Thanks! Idk in my opinion the way I did the brace will help to keep the far end from sagging but really either way should work almost the same.
That turned out cool & very practical, a friend of mine has one outside of his garage for when he goes off roading in his 'side-by-side so he doesn't track mud into his house!
Exactly, thanks 🤘
Some more house tours would be great - place is so sick!
Big things coming up soon 🤘🤘
@@KordareYea Buddy!
Thorough, and concisely thought out as always, nice build, I like the wood pallet idea to get your feet off the stones or pavers, but the wood pallet idea would be nice to help drain soapy water/dirt/etc and leave you with a clean surface still 👍🏻
Thanks a lot and yeah I agree 🙌
you are very gifted and can do so much you are a real inspiration and I love your videos , cars and carpentry as well
Thanks so much!
Another great build video! I always look forward to watching your new videos!
Really appreciate you watching 🤘🤘
Awesome outdoor shower. Simple and practical. Definitely pavers would be a great idea as might be a bit uncomfortable under foot. Great job.
Thanks! So far I've used it a lot and just wear sandals and it's totally fine but yeah I might add something.
Awesome job. Very cool
Thank you!
Great work
Nice work! Cya on the next project!
Thanks 🤘
Nice! A spring loaded automatic door closer would finish it off perfectly.
Not a bad idea!
Awesome stuff mate, watching and loving from Australia! Outdoor shower would be a god-send down here! 🤣Keep up the good work.
Thanks a lot 🙌🙌
I love it Joe. We used stones on our outside shower floor. Feels good on the feet. Can't remember what they're called but they're rounded off stones not the sharp ones
Thanks! Yeah these are a type of river rock, very smooth.
Gotta get the jeep of the channel again.
i missed the part where the water will go but overall very ibtertaining ang interesting as always 👍
Awesome video, as always 👍🏽
Thanks a lot 🙌🙌
Shower looks great! Seemed like a fun build. I always enjoy watching you make improvements to your home.
Still waiting for you to do the upstairs area. I am sure it will end up being a mini series!
Definitely still in the plans. I wanna do more inside this fall 🙌🙌
@@Kordare
Makes sense. Save it for the cold weather. I'll be there for it either way.
Awesome
🙌🙌
Nice job, I like it.❤
Thanks 🙌🙌
Awesome, great work bro 👍🏻
Thanks a lot 🤘
Very nice. Mine is only 4 ft 6 so that I get more the outside experience because it's only chest height you can still see out as your showering, and I put a little platform to stand on just a personal preference. 👍
Awesome 🙌🙌
🔥🔥🔥🔥
Pretty cool concept and as always you did a great job , thank you for not demonstrating the shower LOL
Thanks a lot and you're welcome 😂😂😂😂
Build a laundry room video
Coming very soon 😉
Your videos are always so awesome. One day I hope I can build my own awesome shop like you did. Do you have plans to move the light to the other side of the door? Thank for reading my comment.
Thanks so much! No I forgot to mention I purposely wanted it inside so you can take showers at night. It lights up the whole area perfectly 🤘
Your handle is upside down. Nice build!
Haha thanks! I guess I could flip it but I thought it looked better this way 😂
@@Kordare lol i get that
I feel like you kinda live a country life style of the offroad life style where you good covered in mud or shit and you don’t wanna take it inside, an average of that is when it’s hot you can cook off outside and go inside clean or stuff like that
What are the dimensions for the door please
How far out from the building did you come feet wise trying to figure out how to complete with little cutting
This was roughly 4ft wide by 6ft long
Where did you get the metal siding/roofing
My lumber yard stocks it
Where's the water going to go? Also do u have termites where you are?
No termites and no basement. Slab is set up higher than grade and drainage is no issue here. Water seeps into the rocks an into the ground fairly easy.
put blue and red shrinking tube on the handles
Too late I painted them 😂 but yeah maybe if the paint doesn't hold up
The angled brace on your door is backwards.
Should work both ways in my mind
Google Ariel view will love this
Hahaha
Why would you do all that work and not use a mixing valve.
Works fine this way
@@Kordare OK
Trust me homie you WILL regret the rocky ground of the shower 😬 I would suggest pouring some concrete, it looks nice but walking on it it’s probably gonna hurt, and if not hurt it will be annoying. Your probably gonna be exhausted when you go take a shower and just wanna relax but standing on rocks isn’t gonna help
Haha I always wear sandals when I shower outside so it's perfect with these rocks, but I may add something at some point
@@Kordare could build a ground level deck hovering over the river rock you put down. we have a outdoor shower at my families camp ground and its basically a tiny enclosed hovering deck.
