- How much would it cost to rebuild my Touge attack, canyon carver, daily driver Nissan 350Z from scratch? We go through all of the different mods and add up the total cost for a big surprise! Everything has been modified on this car, from the exterior, engine, suspension, and interior including things like Volk TE37's, Tein coilovers, Z1 Motorsports plenum spacer, Nismo S-Tune exhaust, Hotchkiss sway bars, Hertz Speakers, a subwoofer, an EDFC system, and much more!

Many of these mods aren't performance mods and are primarily cosmetic.
From what I see, this is pretty much a slightly modded daily driver and not a performance machine in any way. Feel free to disagree 😆
it’s a car built for me. my local canyon roads, and my daily driver. and it’s absolutely overkill even for that. if good tires, light wheels, a full suspension rebuild, and bolt on power mods aren’t “performance mods”, then you might need to compare your definition to everyone else’s. won’t find much else on your typical track car anyways. i don’t need a big turbo, i don’t need a standalone, i don’t need anything else to enjoy my Z. i’ll save all that my bimmer lol

the PO did wheels, coils, sways, edfc, intake, exhaust. all stuff i would have done anyways, and all stuff I could do 3 times at least in the time it took me to do the bushings and mounts alone 😅

Never selling mine. It was my first car when I was 17, a gift from my brother when he got his 370. ‘03 with 101k miles on it currently. I have a daily and another weekender but the Z gets the garage XD
I remember when the 350Z came out. Was looking at them before I bought a GTO. A 300HP naturally-aspirated V6 was crazy back then.
Your build is just so good, that I wish I could get a 350Z for around 6k in my place.. in my country a good condition one is around 18k +-2k thats just so much money xD

nice video, after owning my g35 for a few years I’ve fallen in love with this car more and more, I am all about the drive and character of an NA engine, I have so much fun driving my G with the suspension and power mods I’ve done I let my stancey g friend drive my car and said it was crazy how responsive and stable it was, I can’t begin to imagine how much more fun this thing would be boosted given the fact I’m smiling driving this thing NA. If people put more attention to making the car perform better they would realize how more amazing these cars are.

i build my cars to track specs, apparently Z’s handle much better with a square setup. I stayed 10mm skinnier in the front to keep the traction control system happy, which looks for a percentage different in wheel speed front to rear.
the 245’s the car came with felt understeery even while driving moderately in the canyons - the 265s feel super confidence-inspiring

i didn’t buy them, but that’s how much they cost before Tein restructured and shifted their manufacturing processes to be more efficient with the Flex Z. I don’t know exactly how different the older Street Flex model was from the Flex Z, so maybe there’s other reasons for the price disparity.
