S&S DCR Pump Water Contamination | STPDiesel

Disclaimer: DO NOT RUN WATER in you Diesel fuel!!
Only a couple hundred possibly thousands of miles ago we had performed a fuel system repair on this customers truck, but instead of going back with the Cp4 high pressure fuel pump, we performed the DCR pump conversion by S&S!
A full tank of water later this customer is back, worried and terrified about possibly having the same repeat failure. Luckily this DCR pump did exactly what it was suppose to do! No metal or any signs of catastrophic failure from all the water in the fuel! Simply removed the fuel tank, cleaned and inspected the tank, flushed the fuel lines, replaced fuel filters, back flushed engine, replaced driver side fuel rail with FRP and PCV sensors, topped off with good fuel and some cetane booster and Boom! She’s starts up and drives with no issues!!!
Absolutely 100% Recommend for anyone with a 6.7 Powerstroke!!!
