Just purchased a new 2024 F250 6.7L. I’d love to do a CP4 swap but don’t want to void my warranty. I guess I’ll just have to wait and put some miles on it first.
Would love to see the 1 year update on how the shop truck is holding up. Loved the other video of how the DCR handled the water contamination on the other truck but curious to see how this one is doing
Getting one installed on my 2020, they should have a recall on these or at the very least have Ford install these S&S standard in every truck. It’s a $15K dollar failure…. There should be a class action or something…. It’s ridiculous after 100K miles on a diesel engine. Smh. Great video and informative. Thanks guys
It will be interesting to see the failure rates on the S&S DCR after they've sold 50,000 of them and some real miles have been accumulated. Right now, they only offer a two year warranty (no mileage). So if I put one in and only drive 10K miles in 2-1/2 years, the warranty is no longer in effect. It sure seems like a very short warranty. If they really thought it was that good, I think they would have offered a five year warranty.
The point in the design of the pump isn't about pump failure although it is superior in engineering, the point is for the pump to not destroy every other component in the fuel system like the CP4 does.
Hey there, yes there is a fitment issue with one of the fuel lines on 20+ Powerstroke's that they are repairing. We did our install before this concern was brought up. We have not had any issues with our install, love it!

Hey guys looks like my CP4 may be going out and I've been looking at these DCR pumps. With an already deleted and tuned truck would I need to get updated tuning to accommodate the added fuel volume the DCR provides over the CP4?
Just put a DCR in and I here a knocking sound it’s coming from the pump engine sounds different for sure Got good throttle response. Truck gets up and goes. we used statoscope to locate the sound where it was coming from differently from pump any ideas out there

Just installed one on my 15 350 plati…easy to follow instructions, feels good to be done with the CP4…I was on my second.
How long did it take
Roughly 8hrs, but I also did the upper filter delete from FASS as well while I was in there.
How many miles do you have on your truck? I got a 2013 and I had my Cp4 for replace at 75K and I’m at 161 right now. But dread it happening again

There is a class action....you may see a boost in that matter because of the recent GM settlement for the same pump.

DCR doesnt provide additional fueling and should be a direct swap. Why do you think your CP4 is going they usually dont give a warning
