Wow! Thanks so much for posting this! I just bought Xplane and it's been MANY MANY DECADES since I was flying in my dad's 172. I remember a lot of what he taught me (2 minute turn, etc) but he wasn't able to get overly technical with me since I was really young. Most of my flying was level-flight and IFR (too small to see over the dash!) Re-learning so much again from you & Mike!
This is a great idea that you've been working on and that you hinted was coming for a while now Jason. Mike is a very good communicator of the process along with being an obviously seasoned pilot. I hope many people that are flight sim enthusiasts, whether their new, or experienced simmers that want to learn to do it like the pro's do, will sign up with Mike. I look forward to viewing the rest of the series with you & Mike!
hi Jason, I don't know if you'll answer any questions. but in what order would you purchase your controls? Alpha Flight Controls, Bravo Throttle Quadrant, Pedals They are quite pricey!
Thank you, excellent idea. Just a quick request, would it be possible to make a video using the cesna with Garmin G1000 making a simple flight plan using IFR and GPS approach? I really could use your help to figure out what I'm doing wrong. Thank you
@@JasonVriends I got the Bravo a week ago but I’ve only done a quick test flight to check it works as I’ve just been too busy. I like it a lot. If anything it’s slightly better than I thought it would be. I only really intend to use the commercial setup. Unfortunately I don’t have FS2020 and don’t have any plans to get it for some time. I think I would need the PMDG 737 to be released first and for the simulator to bed in for a while first. I hope you are enjoying it.

For best accuracy with flight model, get the SimCoders REP addon for the C172. Very inexpensive.

Hey Jason. It's been a very long time and I haven't seen anything from you. I hope you are well!
Thanks for asking. I am just waiting on being able to purchase the Bravo Throttle Quadrant then I plan to do some new videos on FS2020.

Well done!!! Why don't you come to Ottawa Flying Club and take a real lesson!
I might have to do that.
