The issue im having is I found a firestick, Took it home and plugged it in and it works but I dont have a remote and the firestick is Jailbroken because it boots into a Bootleg IPTV Service. How do I get to launch into FireTV without a Remote and without it on my WiFi....... I really hate to waste tech. Id rather not have to junk it.

I can't seem to get it to connect. I get the message that the device is connected but I also see where it says it's offline. Then when I try to set up the scrcpy it won't let me change anything or select device.

You need to forward ports on the router that is connected to the firestick and also use the public IP address rather than the local IP address that the router is connected too, please be aware this IP address may change from time to time if the isp has not issued a static IP address (usually you have to pay your isp extra for this)

On the flakie properties (exactly 00:05.00 in your video, I didn't have the option to Unblock and so because of that I'm guessing, is why it's not working for me. Any ideas?

Please check you are on the same wifi network as your Firestick, ensure ADB Debugging is on and that you have accepted the onscreen message when connecting and make sure the IP address you are connecting with is correct.
I don't have the option for Apps from unknown sources. I have an option for Install unknown apps, but then it list ES Explorer and Silk as my options for installing apps.
I am afraid it’s only firesticks on the same Wi-fi network as your computer. However if you know how to port forward your friends router, you could do it but it’s complicated.

@@Lunaticohsyou You need to forward port 5555 for both TCP and UDP to the IP address or MAC of the firestick, and make sure that the persons internet connection has a static ip address please ensure you are connecting to the ISP allocated IP address and not the local IP address unfortunately I am not familiar with the Fritz box so I am unable to give specific advice for that router.
You need to make sure that the relevant ports are open on the router at the location of the firestick and also make sure you are using the Public IP address rather than the local one.

You need to ensure they have a static IP address and setup port forwarding on their routers to port 5555 and forward it to the ip of their Firesticks also set their routers to assign a static ip to their firesticks, unfortunately the process of doing this is different for every router.

@@osovillarreal6128 I will certainly see what I can do, in the meantime you could find details on portforwarding at portforwarding.com there are some excellent guides there, you need to forward port 5555 to the ip address of the firestick your want to connect to in your Mum and Friends routers you should also set the IP address of the firestick as static in these routers, please contact the manufacturer of the router(s) for more information on how to do this.

You can easily access and control your local firestick by making a VPN connection to your house. If you have a high end router it might have an option for this, if not you can either use a raspberry pi or a pc to tunnel into your network. SpaceRex has a good tutorial for this if you're interested. Also the latest version of the adbgui program has ngrok support but may be less secure if there is no password protection.

I think this should work on the lite too.

After you have connected click Refresh Device List and the Scrcpy section will not be greyed out.
Does this still work considering that Amazon has disabled ADB all mods to fire stick?

Unblock is not really important it just may come up with a warning if its not unblocked.

I have tested it on the 4k, 4k Max and the cube an it works with them I think it should work with others.

Enter or Return is the select button, not sure about the Home Button but I think Esc will take you back to the Home Screen Eventually.

You would need to forward ports in their router, this is not very easy.
