Awesome. Now I can stop freaking out every time someone wants to smear the dirt into my film with their fingers when I tell them I had the front end coated.

I notice that the company hasn't responded to the first comment. Hmmm

Maybe because the comment is a baseless claim, that and someone has already replied perfectly.

Water hides scratches, doesn't wash them away. No different than putting oily furniture polish on a scratched , faded table - looks better but damage is still there.
Why don't you show the scraped area again after dry ?

+Scott H While it would have been better for them to wipe it, you can see that the area is dry. The surface is hydrophobic and you can see where the water is beaded and where it is dry. Water does not leave a thin film like furniture polish and contains no oils, so it is quite different.
You're right that the water doesn't "wash them away," and they weren't clear. XPEL Ultimate has a self-healing clearcoat which heals fine scratches when heat is applied. It's the heat from the water, not the moisture, that repairs the fine scratches.

but another video shows the same effect using a heat gun, not water.

Extremely misleading.. give me that wire brush and I will show you water can’t remove scratches 😂😆…
