Beautiful! It was a very scenic through the Canadian inlets with the mountains on both sides. Seeing the whales and seeing the grizzly bears was outstanding. One will always have something to see and do in Canada!

So happy you saw your grizzlies and 2 cubs. We have black bears where I live and we see them all the time. At the school where I work, we have bear drills so if the bears come into the playground - and they do- the children know what to do.

We have a lot of black bears in our hometown too! Cute little guys. But grizzlies are a different story for sure!

Hey thanks for sharing. It looked like you had a great time. I have never been on a grizzly bear tour. I am from Campbell River. My cousin is a fishing guide and has been for 51 years. I was in C.R., this past June. He took me out on his boat. I saw a whale and we caught three link cod. It was the first time I had ever been fishing.

Grizzly's are territorial and do not socialize with other Grizzly groups so seeing one is special especially if it is a full family unit. I have one living near me in the mountains of BC but have never seen it in spite of seeing black bears and brown bears almost monthly.

    How quaint..
Remember Banff last week? Grizzlies like to eat Homo sapiens!

That was a very heartbreaking story 😞 Thankfully our tour guides had all the precautions to ensure our safety.
