New subscriber here. Thank you for sharing this beautiful video. Thank you for visiting my country, VIETNAM. Enjoy and stay safe. BTW, do you know that Vietnam News mentioned your trip to VN and your channel. I know your channel from them. You are famous now with many Vietnamese. 😂 😂 😂
It was on official news of VN. They also showed a short footnote from your video to show your activity. They introduced your channel to Vietnamese people. That’s the reason I know you, Eric and Sarah. (Two lovely people ).
There should be like a cafeteria of sort in front of the train…you guys probably didn’t go further down.. Cause i remember riding a regular cheap train and they had a cafeteria in the front of the train..
We've been to Hanoi last year but never on any public transport let alone trains, we want to return so maybe we should consider this train :D - your vlog is well put together, subscribed!
@@paulwoaert $260 USD was for the entire 1st class room actually (so could sleep 4). But the price was still comparable to flights for two of us… we did it for the experience honestly :)

'The sheets are surprisingly clean.' 'The bathroom is bigger and not as gross as I thought.' Have you two ever tried Amtrack, because your room and the overall cleanliness far surpasses anything it has to offer?? There's obviously a good reason why so few American's have passports - if you are going to review something, AND try to sell us a product at the same time, at least learn not to go in with preconceived ideas. So rude!
1. We have not tried Amtrak. Sounds terrible. 2. If you’re going to talk about preconceived ideas, then you should know that we are not American, we’re Canadian 3. There are horror stories about trains in Southeast Asia regarding bathrooms and living quarters. This is based on many stories from other travellers like us and other videos that show horrible conditions. This video shows the other side of that and that it is a great experience to go on these trains at least once. Sorry for being rude I guess

@@EricandSarah I know, but still that's super expensive even for European standards. For reference I have just booked an entire 4-bed cabin, return trip Hanoi -Lao Cai, with bus transfers to Sa Pa and VIP lounge access for 98$ total. 260$ sounds really wrong to me
@@carlosbalaguer2602 I don’t know what you want to hear, that was just the website price at the time we went 🤷🏽♀️ It was pricier than we expected too but could have been the time of year or something but no scam involved.
