Hey, thanks for visiting my old stomping ground. I noticed you didn't go to the Discovery Pier. It is right alongside the Old Island Highway downtown. I recently went back to visit family and friends. My cousin taught me how to fish. He has been a fishing guide for the last 51 years. I had so much fun. We saw a whale out in the Discovery Passage while on my cousin's boat. I had a wonderful time.

We had the best time! And yes we did as much as we had time for but we’d love to go back and explore more :) and that sounds like a great time!

I've got to start a journal of your journey. I'm writing down all the cool places and the restaurants you ate at. Got to have me some fried salmon.

Too bad you didn’t have time to explore the north island, there’s some neat places to visit & it’s very sparsely populated. You could’ve also taken the ferry from Port Hardy to Prince Rupert en route to Alaska but you’d miss a lot of the rest of BC that way.

So true! We really wanted to but we had lots planned in BC that we didn’t want to skip. We plan to come back sometime and explore even more! There is just too much to see lol! 🤪😍
