Sorry about the drone. 😢 That’s a heartbreaker. I love that you’re keeping it real though. Some travel days are disasters, and they’re often the days when you think everything will be perfect. El Nido Beach and the islands are so beautiful. I hope they don’t get overdeveloped.
Eric and Sarah the video of El Nido Island was super! What great video of the island, beaches, and inlets. Only a great photographer and videographer would take it so personally the loss of the drone. But it is almost impossible to go all over the world and have everything go smoothly. You will get another drone soon enough!
aawww....sorry for your loss...but look at the bright side...now you can really enjoy the experience...without the use of modern technology...take in views...and absorb natures beauty and the culture...it has happened to many bloggers... although the screen shots from above are wonderful....the most memorable and fun moments are what happens on ground level...and your interaction with the environment and its people . at least ...you have a reason to come back in the future.

The controller saves low-resolution files to my phone! Luckily they are still good enough quality for RUclips. Still sad we couldn’t get the original 4K files. Just ran into the cliffs because I was orbiting that rock… wasn’t being careful or keeping my eye on the sky.
@@EricandSarah cool. i wonder if my skydio does that. i hardly use the controller or app when i fly it. easier for me to control using beacon, and most of the time i use tracking mode anyway. saw you got a new drone. that's wonderful! continue capturing those amazing locations.
Not only you happened to your drone some vlogers like this ,what happend they go at the tip of the tree and they fidnt come back ,after he back to the philippines the buy a new drone and lates.
Haha yeah true… but we heard from others that the private tour allowed them to start early/change order to avoid most crowds… but none of that seemed to help this day 😂

its alright daaahlings you have shown el nido in a different light 😊. I have been to El Nido numerous times and didnt know there is another secret lagoon in shimizu, that is something new to me I have stopped there God knows how many times but nobody told me theres a lagoon. You will find most beauty of it even if you are just using whatever you have. also its really windy in the entire Palawan from Dec to March. April on wards are the calmer waters in that area but love to go on those months no typhoon lol
I can definitely relate to the disappointment of losing a drone, I lost one this past December in Cebu on a mountain observation deck. I had actually bought the drone for our trip to El Nido, but lost it before going there. Fortunately, you were able to get some amazing footage before losing it, I really enjoyed watching the video. Enjoy the rest of your stay in the Philippines!
I can definitely relate on what happened to you guys. I crashed my drone (stupidly) a few days ago at Vanilla Beach. Every time I flew it, I was so anxious to loose it or crash it and to see that it happened made me feel so sad & angry.
