i own the .2 & .3 & the superfine, they are all terrific.
Great gun! Also got it and it performs awesome.
😎😎
Just got my Creos PS-289 and wow sprays just like a iwata eclipse hp-cs maybe even better no joke !!!
😎😎
After some time, do you feel the same? They're the same price in my region and I can't decide on one.
i picked up 1 289 and also one of the 270's from dan at spraygunner both seem like high quality brushes fit and FINISH LOOK TOP QUALITY
creos makes eceellent air brushes , i have the 771 and the 290 I heard they are made in the same factory as the Iwatas . . I have the Iwata c plus you mentioned which is an aweosm airbrush also. funny thing is back in the 90s I was a passhe guy but now I see the light and can appreciate the fine trigger movement of a great brush .
😎😎
Just got mine today. Excited to give it a go.
I airbrush custom rc bodies and was wanting a brush that would really lay the paint, especially with Candies, so I got the Iwata Neo TRN2. I like the TRN2, but it wasn't what I was expecting, so I got on Amazon earlier and ordered a Creos Procon Boy LWA Trigger Type from Spray Gunner. Hopefully it'll suit my needs lol.
How do you like it one year later?!
I also have the 771 .18 and just bought the 289 yesterday (Can't wait). A far cry from starter kit "masters".
yeah i was psyched when someone bought my masters brushes, cause i bought 3 creos brushes and all are amazing fir the price
i love skulls, when i try to draw i been stuck on skulls for many years, my high schooln art skills are peeking out, i used to paint cars as a job years ago, but never had a good airbrush, only a cheap one i bought for my train in the 90s lol
Thanks!
$78 right now on Spraygunner :O
I can get the Eclipse in a kit that probably ends up costing the same as this gun. But which is better? Creos or Iwata.
Haha "a little hard to get it in" lmfao cant wait for Thursdays video
😂😂
i have a question for you I wanted get the gsi creos 289 airbrush be able to handle createx airbrush paint or wicked createx airbrush paint
We need a comparison video on all these airbrushes. I have a raptor a talon and sparmax dh2 a badger 360 two anthems and one those generic micron clones. And I want to get a PS 270 or 289 but don't know which would fit in my collection. Also I'm selling a anthem because I don't do shirts and the dh2 is great so idk if it's worth getting a ps270 because dh2 is .25 sprays super detailed easy. So I'm looking at badger krome or sotar with the multiple sizes included but think creos would be a higher quality and can't find anything comparing all these different brushes. I bet if you did a comparison instead of reviewing another brush it'd be useful to alot people and get mad views. I'm certain there's alot of people who are in the same spot and at 100 and up per airbrush it sucks going trial and error.
What Createx paint did you use and did you have to reduce it for this airbrush?
Can you please tell me what is the size of your hose connector?
Hey Mike, I have 1 good brush .An Eclipse hp-cs .35. . Do i need this ? Are they too close in performance?
only you would know if you need it. It is very similar in action to the eclipse. If you are looking for a secondary airbrush you cant go wrong with this.
Received this airbrush yesterday atomizes really well one gripe is it kind of binds while pulling the trigger back however I noticed it if you do it in a fluid motion air and trigger same time seems to be very buttery smooth but if you're just pushing down for air then pulling the trigger back seems to have a binding feel not sure if it's the angle of the trigger or what I also have the 771 it's the smoothest airbrush I have next to I mean even better than harder steenbeck but on this particular airbrush there is a binding motion straight away while pushing down for air once the air is coming pull back the trigger is probably the smooth airbrush I've ever owned on both airbrushes I lubed up every spot where they would be metal to metal contact seems to be okay if someone can direct me towards a smooth airbrush both ways that would be great next one I'm going to try is your water eclipse takumi
Also seems to be the hand position which makes it smoother for some reason. I kind of switched a little from my normal airbrush spring position and once I did that just using the very tip of my finger seem to get a really nice smooth action with air and with flow not sure why
I have experienced the same thing with that airbrush.
How would one airbrush atomize paint better than the other essentially you have a tip going into another little tip with an opening an air blows the paint through that how does one specific airbrush make it better than the others
thats like asking "how is one pizza better than the others, essentially they are bread sauce and cheese, what makes one pizza better than the others?"
It all comes down to the details for example: the size of the air gap, the distribution of air, the paint gap, the size of the turbulence zone where paint meets air and the angle of said zone, etc... there are alot of factors the engineers that design these take into consideration, just like the chef does with the pizza.
