This was absolutely gorgeous !!! Made 2kg of lamb for family so multiplied everything 4 fold as this recipe is for half a kilo. Honestly, it was better than restaurant karahi. I will always make lamb this way from now on.
Thankyou so much sister Nabeela for sharing your expertise

Stunning dish. I double recipe up because Aldi do a 1kg joint of Lamb. I'm making it for the third time today. Just waiting for it to cook smells lovely can't wait. Think I've memorised the recipe and method now.

Lamb Karahi looks delicious
I made this tonight and the taste was delicious my husband was happy although the colour turned out darker than yours do you think this was due to me over cooking the onions coukdnt think what made it darker?!
Most likely. Try not to over cook the onions. Just enough so they are soft. They will eventually cook with the rest of the ingredients 🙂
@@CookwithNabeela perfect thank you! Love your recipes 😍

Can you make daal/Lentils like this
Nice easy recipe
You can check out my daal mash recipe here ruclips.net/video/TI2N3tsz4XY/видео.html 🙂
@@CookwithNabeela ok thanks
Can I ask did you soak the lentils/daal before making.
Super recipe! Could I substitute for chicken as my wife isn't so keen on lamb? Thanks, really enjoy your recipes
Yes you can! Let me know how it turns out 🙂
@@CookwithNabeela will do, I'm doing it right now as it happens!
@@CookwithNabeela it was excellent, I used boneless chicken thigh and adjusted the cooking time slightly. Just out of curiosity what makes you use 2 teaspoons of turmeric in most of your curries as many chefs use less, is that a colour thing or a taste thing? Best wishes
Hi. I made this and was amazing.
But here it says 1kg lamb but on ur website with recipes it says 500g. So which one ia right?
Thank you
Thanks! The correct amount is 500g 😀
Thankyou so much I did this and was so lovely! Xxx
Do we simmer the lamb before hand what about the stock from the lamb?
No, you can cook the lamb once you have added the spices and the water. If the lamb is not throughly cooked then just add some more water.
Thanks
This dish looks very delicious and I would like to try make it, however I am confused on how much lamb t Ouse as it says in the description to use 500g of lamb however in the video it says to use 1/2 kg of lamb could you please tell me how much lamb to use
Hi Sophia, thanks for watching. 500g and ½ is the same amount 🙂
Cook with Nabeela thank u very much I am so stupid
What heat are you cooking at consistently? Medium heat?
That's right. Majority of the cooking is on medium heat but you need to lower the heat when you add water to cook the lamb. This will make sure the lamb is cooked properly :)
nice!
What type of lamb? Leg? Shoulder?
You can use any type of lamb. The leg and shoulder tend to be the most tender 🙂
I am allergic to yoghurt how can I make it without yoghurt?
Yes you can! 🙂
Why do people say looks delicious, make it first then post your comments otherwise your post is useless.
If I want to make a kilo do I just double the ingredients?
poner la receta en español gracias
When you say cook for a few minutes how many minutes to be exact
Follow the instructions in the video, it says it there exactly how long to cook.
Otherwise read the description. The exact method is there also 🤦🏾
Is it lamb meat is it? Lamb leg? Thanks
Yes, it is lamb. You can lamb or mutton. In this video, i used mixed lamb pieces. 🙂
You have not mentioned that cook it in non sticky... All this thing stick down 😂😭
This is pakistani dish not indian
I would say it's both. Indian & Pakistanis share a lot of Culture & Traditions... just sad what is going on now in India.
Pakistan came out of India dohhhh
Was going to say it’s Lahori Karahi. Karahi is from both India and Pakistan but Lahore in a Pakistani city famous for its cuisine. This particular recipe is a Pakistani one not Indian 🇵🇰👍🏽
Pakistan and India were one for thousands of years, dont let the past 80 or so years create division in your heart.
