INREDIENTS:
Mutton - 1 kg
Onion - 1 large
Tomato - 3 medium
Garlic Paste - 1 TBS
Ginger Paste - 1 TBS
Green Chili Paste - 1/2 TSp
Green Coriander and Mint Leaves
DRY CONDIMENTS:
Red Chili - 1/2 TSp
Turmeric Powder - 1/2 TSp
Cinnamon - 2 Sticks of 2 inch
Black cardamom - 2
Cloves - 4
Dry coriander Powder - 1 TBS
Oil - 1/2 Cup
Yougart - 1/2 Cup

Reminds me of the time in 1970 when I was stuck at Rawalpindi airport due to a technical fault in the Afghan Airlines DC 4. They were crying for war on both sides and all of us with Indian names were held at a place at the transit hall for our own protection.
2 policemen got talking to me and we had a great conversation. They walked with me around the airport and one of them got me a dish of lamb Karahi Gohst. I had never tasted this dish before. I had lots of this in Europe and elsewhere but never got to taste one as good as the one from Rawalpindi.
