This philly team was #1 defensively and by a landslide. Everyone they had in the starting and second rotations were GREAT defenders. That right there mixed with Iverson's 30 a game and mckie 16 a game was enough. Mutombo was old but still an elite defender and rebounder inside. This team wasnt as bummy as you think . McGrady didn't have the longevity Vince had also vince put up better numbers than Reggie did and even tho Jerry West played like a 2 they labeled him as a point guard it's like how Steph/Kyrie play like shooting guards but are considered pg's but a 99-2003 Carter is easily a top 10 sg to me he gets overlooked due to him being the greatest dunker but he had some real clutch moments and was a great shooter. His 01 playoff run was legendary even tho they lost to the sixers him and Iverson had some great battles that 7 game series and had back to back 50 point games
