The WHOLE country was behind them, was such a special run. I remember being at a bar in Niagara Falls to watch the final game of the finals and when the end of fourth quarter buzzer went off the entire bar erupted, grown men were crying, people were hugging strangers , guys on top of pool tables chanting, cars driving by with huge raptors flags out the windows... such an unbelievable moment to be a part of, a part of history !!
Not even a Raptors fan, but I was happy to see them win. It reminded me of the old school NBA. The Raptors and their fans took their lumps and finally got over the hump.
I'm from Philippines and been a Raptor Fan since VC era, and damn every heartbreaks from the past playoff series specially against LeBron did not change my love for the team and still trust that were gonna win someday! was so fcking happy when we won the championship!
For a franchise that is still quite young (they're not even 30 years old yet) they've put together a very respectable alumni of former players and success since 1995.
The fact they won against Philly in 7 and came back from 0-2 against Milwaukee and then Beat Golden State handily who are one of the very best makes it one of the most epic for sure.
At the same time, we St. Louis Blues fans finally got our 1st Stanley Cup championship, something we had been waiting for more than 50 years to come true.
Toronto Raptors had come too far after the Raptors win gm 1,but in the 2nd game,Raptors we're layin an egg,and the warriors showed that the we're the defending champs
Thank you for uploading this. Best two-way basketball TEAM of all time. 9 elite two-way unselfish players. It's a shame Kawhi didnt stay, they could definitely have won again.
I was 10 years old, just a little kid back then. I saw that dude Vince Carter... In Hungary NBA just has begun to bloom. I was in love, it was that moment when i became a Raptors fan. 2019, I'm 29 years old, having a wife, daughter - and Toronto champs, but this is not enough. I want to see thi organisation live. After that I'll can die happily #RAPS
I went thru the VC era in my late teen and early 20s. Seeing the team went thru all the ups and downs and finally win a chip was a feeling nothing could ever put into words. Blessed to be a Raptor fan.
Toronto are Wildlings and above the wall. King beyond the wall. Minnesota Timberwolves is House Stark which their signa is the wolf. King of North, Milwaukee Bucks are House Baraethon since their signa is a buck. Portland is House Bolton and skin people alive. 🤢🤮😂🤣 Minnesota has fan base of Iowa, South Dakota, North Dakota, and Winnipeg, Manitoba-Canada. 🇨🇦 Toronto are Wildlings! Unless you want to be White Walkers that would probably be Alaska lol 😂
@ClappinYaMomCheeks Raptors had already built a 3-1 stranglehold on the series before Klay even got injured, with KD the series still goes the distance. The injuries are over exaggerated by salty GS fans.
Look back at the Warriors' championship movies. LMK if you find Kyrie & KLove getting injured, Zaza injuring Kawhi, CP3 getting injured, etc... Clown mf
It started as USA only obviously, but national can refer to any nation. Do you want them to call it the Nationals Basketball League? When they start letting Mars have a team you might have a fair point
I’m not a LeBron fan whatsoever, but if LeBron James did stay with the Cavaliers and never went to the Lakers, I don’t think the Raptors would’ve still had a chance to go to the finals. They barely beat the Warriors without Kevin Durant and Klay Thompson.
Raptors got lucky winning the championship and you know it had the Warriors been at full strength more specifically my Warriors the Raptors never would’ve won the title in 2019 in reality
so 2 allstars isn’t enough they need 4 to beat the raptors? it wasnt even close of a series and you know it. your excuse that you would of won if or we could of won is just you being a poor loser we beat the breaks off you and that’s reality.period.
lol americans need to stop being salty and using that poor hypocritical sad excuse since its never this loud when it comes to your own teams winning rings against those that had injured players as well... like make it make sense.
no disrespect but these team histories LITERALLY always have been and PROBABLY LITERALLY always will be ranked in this EXACT order #1 sixers #2 warriors #3 bucks #4 rockets and #5 raptors and these legends LITERALLY always have and will be ranked in this EXACT order #1 wilt chamberlain #2 kareem abdul-jabbar and #3 hakeem olajuwon
The Marc Gasol trade for JV and Kawhi’s game 7 winner were the turning points of their championship season
This was a special team and a special run. I'm glad i was alive to see it 😊
Not even a Raptors fan, but I was happy to see them win. It reminded me of the old school NBA. The Raptors and their fans took their lumps and finally got over the hump.
2025 and beyond and I am still here, this never get old
This team should've stayed together
I'm from Philippines and been a Raptor Fan since VC era, and damn every heartbreaks from the past playoff series specially against LeBron did not change my love for the team and still trust that were gonna win someday! was so fcking happy when we won the championship!
From the Craptors to World Champions. So happy i got to see all of it
Could have been a dynasty had Kawhi decided to stay in Toronto
It’s tough that none of these guys are on the team anymore
26:11 I jizzed. I loved that team so much. The BBIQ and hustle was just completely unmatched.
I hope we will win it again when Lowry get back and when we get players like Leonard De Rozan and many others LETSGOOOOOOOO RAPTORS
In my opinion when they showed the Kawhi game 7 buzzer they should have showed Vince Carter game 7 attempted shot vs Sixers and mixed it in
For a franchise that is still quite young (they're not even 30 years old yet) they've put together a very respectable alumni of former players and success since 1995.
Greatest run Ever, hands down.
Yes sir!!!!
It's definitely up there. I have the 2011 mavs number 1
@patrickslingo1811same
The fact they won against Philly in 7 and came back from 0-2 against Milwaukee and then Beat Golden State handily who are one of the very best makes it one of the most epic for sure.
@patrickslingo1811I don’t think so,they won by luck
Finally! I've been waiting for something like this. We the documentary for the Celtics, Lakers, Bulls. And now the Raptors finally
DeMar's layup package is so pretty. He's a pretty pretty man right there.
Most fun NBA championship ever, Leonard, Siakam, Lowry, Van Vleet, Ibaka, and more. Stuff of legends. Always brings a smile.
they help Canada put the WORLD in the NBA playoff championship round formerly known as the NBA World championship series
Dam i miss this team....
What a line up
Fred van vleet grew up 3 hours from Milwaukee
At the same time, we St. Louis Blues fans finally got our 1st Stanley Cup championship, something we had been waiting for more than 50 years to come true.
2 last runs b4 covid ! now we have coach Berube ... go leafs go
Total team effort
Kawhi Leonard King in the North 👑
Come back from time to time to remember. I always wonder ... if we had OG... what that run would look like ...
@ColdHoops not in a bad way. Just would have been cool to see what could have been with Kawhi and OG could do on the defensive end together
Still getting goose bumps after all these years. Best moment for a lifelong Raptors fan.
This run was also the birth of ......."Fate of the universe on the line , I WANT IGUODALA"
Still gives me goosebumps
This is great, but to the elephant in the room, why is the video stretched?
Mr. Naimsmith would be proud that a team from his home country finally wins a title
Toronto Raptors had come too far after the Raptors win gm 1,but in the 2nd game,Raptors we're layin an egg,and the warriors showed that the we're the defending champs
I wake up everyday to see dub fans cry 😅🤣😂
I'm sure their rings dry those tears pretty quick
I watched from home great series you guys played so hard 👏 🎉
You're going to need a passport for this one
Been waiting for this since they won
We ARE the North
Happy 5th Anniversary
2018-19 NBA Champions: Toronto Raptors 🔴⚫🦖🇨🇦🏀🏆
🥳🎉🎊🎉🎊🎉🎊🎉
2019-2024
WE THE NORTH!!!!!!!!!!!
I can't believe it's 5 years already
35:13 - A climactic moment
Thank you for uploading this.
Best two-way basketball TEAM of all time. 9 elite two-way unselfish players. It's a shame Kawhi didnt stay, they could definitely have won again.
1000% hurts me still today
I was 10 years old, just a little kid back then. I saw that dude Vince Carter... In Hungary NBA just has begun to bloom. I was in love, it was that moment when i became a Raptors fan.
2019, I'm 29 years old, having a wife, daughter - and Toronto champs, but this is not enough. I want to see thi organisation live. After that I'll can die happily #RAPS
yes sirrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
Man Kawhi shouldve stayed
I had been looking for that since 2019. Thank you so much man !
You are welcome!
So have i!! Thank you!!
Why is the video so stretched lmao
We the north
Van fleet reminds me of Derrick fisher
I didn’t see kawhi talk about his teammates once. He only talked about himself
Kawhi should have stayed there
Yeah but nowadays greedy players go where's the moneys at
Bosh is the percect Raptor because if his long neck 😅
Kawhi should’ve stood in Toronto on a one year extension just to see if they could’ve repeated.
Raptors is the lucky bastard NBA champion...
Lucky because why? Because they beat a superteam one way or another? As if being a super team dynasty isn't already an unfair advantage?
@tailorknine5046they’re lucky because they would’ve gotten beaten in 5 had KD played but GS also was lucky in 2015

lebron left for the lakers after
I went thru the VC era in my late teen and early 20s. Seeing the team went thru all the ups and downs and finally win a chip was a feeling nothing could ever put into words. Blessed to be a Raptor fan.
The team who ended the Warriors Dynasty
They ended the KD Warriors era. GS won another one without him after.
Toronto are Wildlings and above the wall. King beyond the wall.
Minnesota Timberwolves is House Stark which their signa is the wolf. King of North,
Milwaukee Bucks are House Baraethon since their signa is a buck.
Portland is House Bolton and skin people alive. 🤢🤮😂🤣

Toronto are Wildlings! Unless you want to be White Walkers that would probably be Alaska lol 😂
Stppped watching less than 1 minute I'm as soon as I saw Justin Trudeau. Aka
JTreason.
KD and Klay is nowhere to be found, and neither the warriors defense
Klay played majority of the series.
Because they were injured🤦🏽♂️
@ClappinYaMomCheeks Raptors had already built a 3-1 stranglehold on the series before Klay even got injured, with KD the series still goes the distance. The injuries are over exaggerated by salty GS fans.
@KP-wt8qr I disagree, but understand what you’re saying
Look back at the Warriors' championship movies. LMK if you find
Kyrie & KLove getting injured, Zaza injuring Kawhi, CP3 getting injured, etc...
Clown mf
They call it NATIONAL Basketball Association. What nation is meant? American or Canadian? Or is it one nation as the name hints?
Its a international league players from all countries play in the NBA
@ClappinYaMomCheeks An international league which is called National? 🤦
@ДмитроПавкін dude it’s just a league where people from all over the world can join stop making it complicated it’s not that serious.😑
@ClappinYaMomCheeks My experience tells me that words matter.
It started as USA only obviously, but national can refer to any nation. Do you want them to call it the Nationals Basketball League?
When they start letting Mars have a team you might have a fair point

I agree him going to the west vanished a dark cloud for the raptors and the rest of the east
Why do you people always act like being a superteam dynasty is not lucky?
lol americans need to stop being salty and using that poor hypocritical sad excuse since its never this loud when it comes to your own teams winning rings against those that had injured players as well... like make it make sense.
@chrisrenshaw1985 maybe but still the Raptors won and became a champion. A fact that will forever be a part of the NBA history
no disrespect but these team histories LITERALLY always have been and PROBABLY LITERALLY always will be ranked in this EXACT order #1 sixers #2 warriors #3 bucks #4 rockets and #5 raptors and these legends LITERALLY always have and will be ranked in this EXACT order #1 wilt chamberlain #2 kareem abdul-jabbar and #3 hakeem olajuwon
Yall got so lucky KD and klay got hurt
Womp womp
Warriors got lucky in 2018 CP3 got hurt, lol
the warriors are the poster Boys for beating injured teams yet u complain when the favors returned
Ya'll forget easily... Intentional injury, otherwise GS would've been toast this series.

Being a super team dynasty isn't lucky?
