      @@blessed18888 Toffee & fudge are not the same. Fudge is softer & crumbles easily, toffee is harder (even "soft" toffee is harder) and more chewy

    Thanks Warren🌻 I was so scared to make this because the last time I tried to make fudge it was a disaster. But I followed your recipe to the T, and it came out perfect. I never used to beat my mixture, it honestly changed the game.

    Excellent recepie
    You can use any kind of sugar not only brown
    If you have a hand mixer, mix it in the cooking pot - will cool down slowlier
    I had to cook it so much longer than 15 mins... but then my electric heater is not very strong
    Delicious !

    What’s golden syrup? We usually use light corn syrup but I’ve never seen golden syrup!I have a great recipe for caramel fudge which is easy to make but it doesn’t use Sweetened condensed milk so I will try this recipe too and see if it’s even easier. Your fudge looks delicious. I prefer caramel fudge to chocolate fudge. It’s so addicting! Thank you for sharing this recipe. 👍🏼😋

      asvinni - OOPS! THIS IS MY RECIPE FOR CARAMEL SAUCE NOT CARAMEL FUDGE!: 1/2 cup brown sugar ( packed) 1/4 cup heavy whipping cream 1/4 cup light corn syrup. 2 TBSPS Butter 1 tsp vanilla extract ( or your preference of extract) I quadruple this basic recipe to make much more. It’s delicious too. Directions: Mix all ingredients together in a 1-2 quart pot. Heat to boiling, boiling slowly for 2-3 minutes. Remove from heat, cool and refrigerate. I will look for my caramel fudge recipe and text it in a bit. Sorry about that!

    • @christaylor3292
      @christaylor3292 4 года назад +1

      asvinni Here is the correct recipe for Caramel Fudge- I got it online- It’s called Penuche Fudge- 1 1/2 cups white sugar. 1 cup brown sugar. 1/3 cup half and half cream. 1/3 cup whole milk. 2TBPS Butter. 1 tsp vanilla extract. Directions: 1. Butter a baking sheet. Butter the sides of a heavy, 2 quart saucepan. 2. Ina a saucepan, stir together white sugar, brown sugar, cream, milk, and butter and bring to a boil over medium to medium high heat. Heat and stir occasionally to between 234 and 240 degrees F. Remove from heat and cool to lukewarm (110 degrees) Stir in vanilla and beat vigorously until mixture loses its gloss. Quickly spread onto prepared baking sheet. Score into squares while warm; cut when firm.
