Thumps up for that incredible take off. It was so smooth that I didn't feel anything. I envision myself in the aircraft, and it's everything I expect it to be, when it's time for it take off...
THANK YOU MY DEAR FRIEND, NANCY. I'VE BEEN IN SO MANY TAKE OFFS AND LANDINGS, BUT THIS PARTICULAR ONE IMPRESSED ME SO MUCH! I MISS WORKING FOR UNITED AIRLINES AND ALL THE GREAT PEOPLE THAT I WORKED WITH. TOO BAD THE COMMUTE WAS IMPOSSIBLE,(SINCE I WAS LIVING IN MANHATTAN) IT USE TO TAKE ME 3 TO 4 HOURS TO FIND PARKING!
Yeaah, pure Metal! Sounds like has inherited some of the TF39 roar, and makes GEnx (advanced technology, hi-performance, blabla, okay, necessary and great) seem to be singing kpop on takeoff.
At 5.27 thru 5.37 looking right below the engine nacelle you can see ( I think ) Opa Locka airport, I live a few blocks west of the field in Miami Lakes, I probably could land on my backyard if I'd parachuted out at that point, really. But, awesome video, beautiful sound, love it.
It's incredible that we are seeing two forces...thrust and speed...then lift from the wings...because of the speed. Who would have thought that humans could make this work so reliably? Absolutely incredible!
***** I never get bored looking out the window during takeoff or landings. I'm curious how they make the wings so incredibly strong to support all that weight. Amazing engineering!
Thanks so much! Glad you enjoy the videos! If there's anything I can do to brighten someone else's day then it has been a good day! Thanks for taking the time to comment once again!
hola mi nombre es Ernesto me encantas tus vdeos me hacen viajar en mi inmaginacion , so sigue mostrandonos tus esperiencias de vuelo saludos desde Miami
+Robert Miodovski It quiets down once the jet gets up to speed. I doubt if it was above 10,000 feet anywhere in this video, which means it was flying at 250 knots or less. At 500 knots (approx.), all you'll hear is the rush of the wind.
+MrTrev01 It's the engine itself. Almost every plane sounds like this in the front, but I have not heard a 787 have a buzz. I probably did not watch the right videos or get onto the right planes lol.
The Trent 800 sounds a lot louder than the GE90-115B found on the -200LR's and the -300ER's. I wonder if that is because of the swept shape of the fan blades on the GE?
I live around there and you don't really grasp how big those limestone quarries are at the end of the vid until you see it from the air. Thanks for posting a video that has take-off to near cruise altitude un-interrupted.
777 is an amazing beast. No one could call it quiet on takeoff with any engine option. I've only flown the standard UA 777-200's (P&W) on Hawaii routes a couple of times. It's been in service since 1995, so it was quite an accomplishment for its' day. Who says only the old low-bypass engines make great noises.....
A Metrorail train can be seen from 1:23 to 1:30, heading out of the still-not-fully-completed Miami Central Station. In at least one of your other videos ("Intense Rainstorm" AA 757 takeoff) a Metrorail train can also be seen, this time entering the MCS from the opposite direction.
N785AN is the 2000-built Boeing 777-223ER (serial no. 30005) and it's a 274th 777 built. Delivered to American Airlines on 4/12/2000. Seat Config: 2000-2015: F16C35Y194. 2015-present: C45W45Y170. Engines used: Rolls Royce Trent 892. Delivery Colors: Old AA Age on this video: 13.2 Years. Still in service from 2000-present.
Good view of the planes shadow on the water around the 3:10 mark. That flight looks like it went out heavy unless ATC kept them down low for a bit. Interesting seeing the Dreamlifter in Miami. I see them on a regular basis when they come to pick up the 787 forward fuselage, and many times we'll see two parked there.
Oh cool! 4A on Delta's 777 is further forward in the cabin than on AA due to Delta's angled seating! AA plans to change the cabin layout of some of the 777's so we'll have to see how the layout changes going forward!
At least rolls still has grinding.. Was it as loud as the video depicts. Every time I watch a video, and fly the real thing its allot quieter than I would have thought. Still using the CX100 mark or did you upgrade?
No, I still have the CX-100! The Trent 800 is certainly pretty loud I'd say! I'm not sure if the camera amplifies the sound or not, but I'd say the noise level is realistic!
They have General Electric GE90 engines! I recently filmed a video of what they sound like: Massive Blue Engines!!! Incredible HD Boeing 777-200LR Takeoff From Los Angeles California!!! Enjoy your trip!
RR Trent is, in a way, a "child" of the RR RB 211, that's why they have almost the same magnificent sount..., but, to my opinion, the sound of RB 211, is unsurpassed....!!!!
If you are willing to share - have you been fairly successful getting paid on tube? I have some good old videos of Concorde (check-in taxi, take off (great with 250 mph speed at rotation!) in-flight approach, landing) and even the plane coming up the hudson when they retired it. Also first 2 engine plane over the north pole on CO inaugural EWR-HKG that might be popular even though i didn't plan on using it this way any advice would be appreciated Keep up the good videos ! Kevin
+Teh Hoorf Rolls Royce is definitely my favorite. It's got a nice buzz to it. Better than Pratt & Whittney's buzz. While General Electric does have some of that buzz, it not as pronounced and loud as the other two.
+Teh Hoorf I don't have anything against Pratt and Whitney's engine (just realized I said Whitney with two t's lol). I like the buzz of Pratt and Whitney. I just like Rolls Royce's buzz better. Pratt and Whitney sounds good though. ;)
Quick question: how do people film these when all electronic devices are supposed to be shut off and stowed? Do they not hassle you about that in biz class, where most of these seem to be filmed?
Timing is essential. Get prepped ready before you are at take off and try not to be silly with what you use. (I've got a really mean look by a stewardess once using a shoulder camera, but things are thankfully a heck of a lot smaller. I should find that video and post it as it's got a cool fly by the World Trade centre). The best time to use a camera, is just at the point of take off, A go pro is good for this as, you can mount the shoe where you want it to be and tuck it out of sight until the flight crew are seated. Then slip it back into the shoe. The easy peel selotape glue tabs are helpful here. But you will here the call from the cockpit for the crew to strap in and then pop your head up and glance around and you should be in the clear to record for a few minuets. .
The Buzzsaw sound is my favorite part, especially after it spins up!
What great spooling sound from Trent 800 thanks for posting.
RR Trent 800 sounds so mature. The raw sound itself indicates pure power.
Aaaaaaaw that sound as those jets turn and whine.
The best sound on the planet.
Glad you enjoyed it!
In the immortal words of George Takei....OH MY!!!! What an amazing sound! Great camera work, awesome sound, and thanks for posting!
Thanks so much for the comment! I'm really glad you enjoyed the video!
Best 777 Takeoff Sound Ever!
I love how the engines go so loud yet they are going soooooo fast
nothing beats this RR engines during spool up.... RB 211 and Trent 800 best sound never :-)
Yes, they're both great engines! Glad you liked the Trent 800 spool up sound!
yes sir I do ! :-)
The RB211 is certainly one of the best engines ever made 👍🏼👍🏼😁😁
I love Rolls Royce and the Trent 800 is my first favorite
I think the growling sound is excellent as well!
Thumps up for that incredible take off. It was so smooth that I didn't feel anything. I envision myself in the aircraft, and it's everything I expect it to be, when it's time for it take off...

My type of music.
I guess one could call it music!
Hell Yea!!
Yeaah, pure Metal! Sounds like has inherited some of the TF39 roar, and makes GEnx (advanced technology, hi-performance, blabla, okay, necessary and great) seem to be singing kpop on takeoff.

Yes, that's Opa Locka! Glad you liked the video!
Thanks to show this video ,,,,,, I really like the sound of engine
Thank you! Glad you liked it!
YA friend,,, I realy love plane
Are you on fb
I have see and heard so many takeoff 0f 777's. Why are the trents so noisy and the GE90's so quiet?
It's incredible that we are seeing two forces...thrust and speed...then lift from the wings...because of the speed. Who would have thought that humans could make this work so reliably? Absolutely incredible!
It is amazing! Flight is such an awesome experience!
***** I never get bored looking out the window during takeoff or landings. I'm curious how they make the wings so incredibly strong to support all that weight. Amazing engineering!
Yeah, I'm the same way!
***** I'm sure it's primarily a "guy thing!" Most women don't have much interest in stuff like this.
sunking2001
Yes - women didn't invent any of it either.
Again. Another great video! I love the sound of these engines. I don't know why people complain. They help me sleep!! Thanks for sharing!
Thanks so much! Glad you enjoy the videos! If there's anything I can do to brighten someone else's day then it has been a good day! Thanks for taking the time to comment once again!
Gotta love the Trents.

EPIC ENGINE ROAR! Awesome video! Keep them coming!
That sound will drive me crazy over the course of a 3 to 5 hour flight.
+Robert Miodovski It quiets down once the jet gets up to speed. I doubt if it was above 10,000 feet anywhere in this video, which means it was flying at 250 knots or less. At 500 knots (approx.), all you'll hear is the rush of the wind.

A non flyer. :D
Wonderfull Rolls Royce with its unmistakable engine. Just like the Fokker 100.
Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for the comment!
Cool to see the Dreamlifter!
Great video, but I think the Pratt & Whitney engines are a bit quiter.
Mark Potvin Yeah, they are! Glad you liked the video! Thanks for the comment!
Unbelievable how a jet engine can sound like my lawn mower !! :) Great view and sight though ! :)
+Robert Landry Glad you enjoyed it so much! Thank you for the comment!
+Robert Landry I thought that was locker vibration in the cabin! What on earth generates this..?
+MrTrev01 It's the engine itself. Almost every plane sounds like this in the front, but I have not heard a 787 have a buzz. I probably did not watch the right videos or get onto the right planes lol.
I like your videos. Thanks for posting them and keep them coming.
Glad you liked them! Thanks for taking the time to comment!
Great catch on the dreamlifter!
The Trent 800 sounds a lot louder than the GE90-115B found on the -200LR's and the -300ER's. I wonder if that is because of the swept shape of the fan blades on the GE?
The Trent 800 uses straight cut blades. Only after the Trent 900 they used swept blades
👍view.💓 those plane engines, even the sweet WW II props.
What a sound, the trents showing their power. Nice vid.
+38911bytefree Glad you liked it so much! Thank you for the comment!
Great video, thank you for sharing it with us, safe travel wherever you go.

thank you for reply.
beautiful sound quality!!!! please post more
Shreya Choudhury Thanks! Will do!
***** Yaaayayyyy! I can't wait! :)
Just love the sound of those bad boy engines, the Rolls Royce Trent 800, just as sweet as the RB-211 but with more power!
Yeah, the 800 sounds really powerful! Glad you liked the sound! Thanks for the comment!
Great vídeo. Tanks for share
Sentiaes Videos Glad you enjoyed the video! Thank you for the comment!

Yeah, the quarries are very large indeed! Glad you liked the video so much! I appreciated the comment!
Got to love it when the Trents spool down!
Yeah, it's a great sound!
They're playing my favourite song!
Your plane flew over my house!! I saw it!!! Really cool video! Like!!
Must be cool to live under a flight path!
Yes it is!
They make a beautiful sound inside the cabin, yet they're significantly more quiet outside than other engines.
Yeah, they're pretty nice for sure! Thanks for the comment!
what a engine sound
You got m,y thumbs up, what a great sound, makes you feel like you are actually flying
Airplanes fascinate and terrify me. Thanks for sharing!
They're awesome! I hope you're able to overcome your fears! Thanks for the comment!

Agreed, the 777 is awesome! I love the monstrous engines!
WOW that sounds if freekin epic! Awesome filming:D
Yeah, I watched the first takeoff of the XWB and even then I heard the signature grind on takeoff!
Wow that sound never gets old! Was that still the old American Airlines livery?
Old livery, I believe!
@@mah584jr ah ok
Splendid memories.
oooooh yeah baby!!! This is an absolutely amazing sound for my ears.
I'm really glad you enjoyed the sound! Thank you for taking the time to post a comment!

Great video. Loved the views. I come from Singapore and I don't get to go to the USA.
Glad you liked the video! I hope you get the opportunity to visit the US someday!
Awesome!!!
mannnnnnnnnnn, listen to that MUSIC. love the 777
Yeah, it's awesome! Glad you liked it!

Also, I absolutely LOVE all of your videos!!
Thanks! I'm glad you like them! Thanks for the comments!
Great take off, great view from above, and great video. I like it very much. Always like it. :-)
Fernando Permana Thank you! I appreciate your support to the channel!
Nice video! Looks like you caught one of Boeing's Dreamlifters out on the cargo tarmac at around 0:55. Cool!
Yup, sure did! It was neat to see!
Yep, they're incredible!
The flight did seem pretty full! It definitely was cool seeing the Dreamlifter as well! Thanks so much for the comment!
amazing sound there
Thanks! The Rolls Royce engines are pretty sweet!
Good job
Best sound from those RR engines! Very powerful and less noise. We've come a long way from the noisy engines from a DC-10.
Good point, but I do miss the DC-10!
I agree with you.
Good that means the engine is powerfull and ready for a years worth of work
Your videos are always aewsome. Congrats.
+M. TNR Glad you enjoyed it so much! Thank you for the comment! Feel free to keep watching as always!
Amazing video and great sounding engine! Good filming!
awesome takeoff role
Thanks! Glad you liked it!
I really love that sound, awesome :D
Glad you liked it! Thank you for the comment!
Love it!
WOW. That was amazing !
Thanks! Glad you liked it so much! I appreciate the comment!
great video!!
Thanks! Glad you liked it!
Thanks!
Those engines roar allot more than the GE , I like the quieter engine better on an
large luxury aircraft . This is like a racing machine , really !
Well, the roar really only lasts for a few minutes. Once you reach cruising altitude both engines sound very similar.
agree with you on that roar, being british i should favour the rolls royce but i think the ge 90 as the edge over rr.
That buzz or roar sound is due to tip shocks. GE90 is by far the better engine on the 777
Is the time to change the engine :)
My Dad Is Going On DELTA's 777-200ER And He's Booked In seat 4A. What a coincidence
Oh cool! 4A on Delta's 777 is further forward in the cabin than on AA due to Delta's angled seating! AA plans to change the cabin layout of some of the 777's so we'll have to see how the layout changes going forward!
dat sound! dem feels.
i love that buzzsaw sound of trents but imo, it would be boring after a certain time during long flights ? am i wrong ?
+Taha Dogan It doesn't last more than ten minutes during takeoff and climb!
Genial video....
Just awesome mate! Congrats!
+Ramon Martinez Much appreciated! Glad you enjoyed it!
Anybody notice that 277 is 772 backwards? Coincidence or intentional for this 777-200 operated flight?
Now that is Impressive, Great video :)
Glad you liked it! The 777 is awesome!
Yeah, i agree :)
Yes, I was talking about the airport that was closest to you when you U-turned out of curiosity. Thanks!! :)
Ya so! I think the spooling up winner is the GE90, but the shrieking sound is best in this Trent 800
Never flew commercial before. My palms are sweating lol
It's something you've got to try! One of the best things this life has to offer!
Hmmm ... Yep this is truly incredible engine sound
Engineers Without Broders -Chennai India Glad you enjoyed it!

I need to get on one then! Was this american??
Yes!
***** I recommend to every friend to get a Sony Handycam for wing footage! Does one great job. Just wish mine has seen more wings...
Great vid, thanks a lot ! And this is SO MUCH better than all these stupid air videos with awful hard rock or other crappy music !!!
Glad you liked the video! Thanks for commenting!
Nice. Out of MIA then North turn. I know that airport anywhere.
Yeah, it was a nice overview of the city! Thanks for the comment!
What seat number was this? First or Business class?
Seat 4A in First Class!
Great video! I'll fly to the US on a TAM 777ER, and I really hope they have those RR Trent engines. They sound awesome!
They have General Electric GE90 engines! I recently filmed a video of what they sound like: Massive Blue Engines!!! Incredible HD Boeing 777-200LR Takeoff From Los Angeles California!!! Enjoy your trip!
***** GE90 engines are so AMAZING! Thanks for the vid!
You're welcome!
***** That's sad. :/ I love the way the RRs growl. Anyway, thanks for the reply. Keep up with these amazing videos!
RR Trent is, in a way, a "child" of the RR RB 211, that's why they have almost the same magnificent sount..., but, to my opinion, the sound of RB 211, is unsurpassed....!!!!
Where were you headed on the 777? AA I assume? looks west again-domestic-maybe came in from south america?
We were headed to Los Angeles on American Airlines!
If you are willing to share - have you been fairly successful getting paid on tube? I have some good old videos of Concorde (check-in taxi, take off (great with 250 mph speed at rotation!) in-flight approach, landing) and even the plane coming up the hudson when they retired it. Also first 2 engine plane over the north pole on CO inaugural EWR-HKG that might be popular even though i didn't plan on using it this way any advice would be appreciated
Keep up the good videos ! Kevin
Would you happen to know the name of the other airport you flew over when you made your left turn towards the west?
Nice
Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for the comment!
Sounds Good
Glad you liked it so much!
Lovely, but nothing beats the "hum"-saw of the PW4000!

*Watch out*, we've got a stubborn Rolls-Royce fan over here
+Teh Hoorf Rolls Royce is definitely my favorite. It's got a nice buzz to it. Better than Pratt & Whittney's buzz. While General Electric does have some of that buzz, it not as pronounced and loud as the other two.

Quick question: how do people film these when all electronic devices are supposed to be shut off and stowed? Do they not hassle you about that in biz class, where most of these seem to be filmed?
Those rules are no longer in effect! All they ask is to power off cell phones or put in airplane mode and to stow your laptops!
***** They still require it on Korean Air. Just flew in Feb 14. But that never stopped me.
A lot of the time, I would say they just don't get caught. It's not like the stewardesses are going to be walking around during takeoff.
Timing is essential. Get prepped ready before you are at take off and try not to be silly with what you use. (I've got a really mean look by a stewardess once using a shoulder camera, but things are thankfully a heck of a lot smaller. The Rolls Royce engines have that unique cutting sound. Cuts like a hog. Nice work!
Yes, it is very distinct! Glad you liked it so much! I appreciate the comment!
Are these bad boys trents?
Awesome! I'm gonna take the same flight in two weeks :)
