As someone who has taken a lot of developmental psych classes, I can tell you that this obsession/repetition phase is very common in adolescence. I taught middle school, and have had students who were obsessed with specific countries, bands/singers, colors, animals, celebrities, beverages, foods etc. You name it, and I can guarantee an 11-14-year-old somewhere has spent a LOT of time on it. I think there's something almost comforting about it to our brains at that age. No need to be embarrassed--best to just have a good laugh at your younger self and move on.
"Obsession/repetition phase" is not a "phase" at all 🤦🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️ it is something all humans do all throughout their lives, it's just as common place in adulthood, as it is in our younger years 👌🏻✌🏻 we don't grow out of these types of behaviours.
Yes, adults still have obsession/repetition in their lives, to differing degrees depending on their personalities, but the extent to which adolescents get obsessed is usually quite different. For example, a 12-year-old crushing on a celebrity can take lengths (putting up walls of photos, trying obsessively to meet them in person, learning every detail of that person's life) that, if an adult were to do the same things would be considered stalkerish and creepy. Maybe stage is a better word than phase, but you missed my point entirely. It's normal to be fixated/obsessed with things, especially at the 11-14-year-old age. Adults, however, should have learned to regulate their fixations and obsessions in a way that it doesn't completely absorb all their extra resources (free time, social energy and finances). If they can't, it can very negatively impact their lives.
Yep. Every book report I did when I was around 7, was ALWAYS about Siberian tigers, Helen Keller, Anne Frank and the Titanic. I know an absolute encyclopedia worth of knowledge on all of those topics. Lmao idk why!!!
My story: I was in love with a boy at school so I wrote his name really small in hidden places all over my house, to be a special thing only ‘we’ Knew about. 30y later I’m raising my 18yo daughter in the same house, and she wants to really know who this random person is and why it’s hidden all over the house
Hahaha this is brilliant. My daughter is 7 so your story has inspired me to 11 years of prep for some kind of joke 😅😅 Edit - actually knowing my luck, it would be my future fiancé who finds the name everywhere and runs out the night before the wedding, because they’d never believe that 11 years prior, I saw a RUclips comment that led me to write a fake name all over the house for my then 7 year old to find to find when she’s 18….. I shall die alone 😝
@@Lilian040210pardon, did you just pass judgment on someone for not renovating their house?? Some people are seriously happy just to be able to afford a roof over their head.
As a fish tank girl with five bettas with 20 gallon tanks, i cannot relate to regretting telling others not to be abusive fish keepers. 😂 i dont bully anyone, but bettas deserve better. Theyre bred by the millions to live short, agonizing lives forgotten in tiny containers not fit for any animal to live in. Regret the bullying, maybe, but never apologize for loving and advocating for animals who cant advocate for themselves.
I wonder how many she had since they have to all be separated. Growing up we had a beta that was at least 3 y/o ...then I wanted to upgrade him to a 10 gallon tank and add some cloud fish. I think one of them was sick (from stupid Wal-Mart, ofc) spread it's infection that ended up killing Felix, our red beta :(
Its heartbreaking to see bettas living out their lives in bowls no bigger than a coffee mug. I had one right after college, and was really surprised how much personality he had. As obsessions go, I think betta fish absolutely deserve the love.
It's a big problem in Denmark too, my dad was a fish tank guy his entire life, and one time he actually went ham on the manager of a Chinese restaurant because they had 25+ giant koi goldfish in one of those flat screen shaped tanks that are basically only fit for cherry shrimps and a couple plants. Normal goldfish need like 7-15 gallons to themselves, but these were like 8 times the size and they barely had 3 gallons each. We never ate there again and my dad called animal control, who said they didn't know what to do. Pet shops here also sometimes sell bali shark fry and try to tell people they don't get bigger, but they do.
I agree. We need a lot more of animal care police imo. Too much neglect going on. I dont mind even if they are sometimes obnoxious and loud 😅 they have animals best interest at heart and i admire that a lot :)
@@calicocritterscrafts886 The issue is it’s difficult to regulate the water quality in a tiny aquarium. 5+ gallons is best. You don’t want to be shortening your pet’s lifespan.
Yes. Between the isolated tiny fishbowls and dirty fish tanks/ponds I struggle to get on board with fish enthusiasm. I know there are good owners, too, but these fish weren’t meant to live in glass boxes.
YES they were talking about the silliness of a fish but I was like....well I have definitely seen a lot of fish here kept in inhumane (infishmane?) bowls a whole lot so honestly I thought it was commendable to stand up for a creature that others write off as insignificant. The fighting with adults online thing made me laugh bc I definitely did that too over different interests 😅
I had a friend in college that decided to do the Orange Challenge, you only eat orange coloured things - carrots, oranges, freezies, orange mentos. everything, for a month. Except he hated oranges and carrots, so he only ate orange fruit loops and orange creamcicles and fanta and orange pop (not orange juice) for that entire month. By the end he wasn't feeling great (surprise surprise) and went to the doctor. Doctor does some tests, comes back to him and says "I've never had to say this to anyone before, but you have Scurvy."
Toni's laugh is both infectious and the cure for the daily blues. Thank you for making the day a little better. Much love for you both from the United States.
I once had a fish tank full of fish. Turns out, the filter was too large for the tank so many of them met their demise in the grates of the filter. The others? Well...they met their fate inside of a fish named Tito. All except one: Phyllis. Tito and Phyllis were both strong. But obviously, Tito was a bully. His existence pissed me off. I shat talked Tito every day. Well...one day, I came home from class and my cat, Howard, was sitting in the dining room...still as can be...looking up at me in such a way, it made me concerned. Then I saw him...Tito...laying dead on the ground in front of Howard. Howard had had enough of Tito's shit. Did he eat him? No. He played and poked Tito till his very last breath. Phyllis was the lone survivor. Howard loved Phyllis. And Phyllis, Howard. Phyllis lived for EIGHT YEARS. She lived in four different apartments with me and Howard. She died in 2016 at the ripe old age of eight. How I loved that fish. I will never have a fish again. No one could ever top the awesomeness that was Phyllis. 🐟
When I began dating my hubs, it was twilight era and he is very pale (post sunning in college and realizing his fam don’t fair well with sun damage). A few of my friends and sisters’ friends were obsessed with him as he did, indeed, look like Robert at the time. I understand Toni, I understand! Also, the man has barely aged in the last thirteen years. Should I be worried? 😂
Make dried garlic jewelry, wear it to bed, more garlic decor throughout the house and hanging on your car's rear view mirror. Ask for stakes for Christmas, tell jom you want to try tent camping!
It cracks me up that the woman went to hospitality school to work at the Dragonfly Inn Connecticut. The Inn is definately a set seeing as it was the home of the Waltons in Virginia in the 70's . The first time I saw it on Gilmore Girls I yelled Goodnight John Boy!
I've had such a horrible time at home these past 2 weeks but Toni and Ryan always make me forget my troubles and make me laugh to the point where I almost pee myself. I love this crew so much! ✌🏼🖤
The irony of the diabetic story is in fact very funny. I love that kind of humour. I'm afraid of taking medication due to childhood trauma and will only take some unless absolutely necessary. Plot twist: I now need medication to stay alive. The universe pulled a hard uno-reverse there. Hilarious. XD
@@cassieandchloe1 Mine are mostly pills, one is through an IV though. The central line one is easier to deal with since I don’t have to physically swallow the pills. I just need to change the cassette and the pump does the rest. Wishing you all the strength, courage and laughter you need!
I was OBSESSED with the Lord of the Rings.... when i found out it was being made here in NZ, i plastered all 4 walls of my room (FLOOR TO CEILING 😂) in anything related to the LOTR. It was a sad day when i moved out of home and had to take them down.
This was me too. Massive crush on Elijah Wood AND Orlando Bloom. I couldn’t have posters so I printed pictures from the films to tape to my walls. My parents got me a Legolas cutout for Christmas 😂
Joshua Jackson is the younger version of George Clooney. I fell head over heels with Joshua Jackson in the Mighty Ducks and then again in the series Fringe. Heart-throb
Here's a long one!....I think I was around 11 years old when I was obsessed with this boy in my class. He was super popular though and I most definitely was not. After weeks of watching him from afar and writing about him in my diary, I finally worked up the nerve to write him a love letter. But I was going to do it anonymously. I was too afraid to straight out say it was me. My hope was that he would become obsessed with this mysterious girl who sent him a letter. To the point where he could only think of her and when I finally revealed it was me, he would fall madly in love with me XD Being in a time before home computers and printers were common, I asked my mom to write the letter for me so he wouldn't recognize my handwriting (Looking back now, I don't know how he would have, LOL). It was super embarrassing because my mom giggled her head off the entire time and kept asking to put super lovey-dovey quotes into it.... The next day I waited to put the note in his desk (our grade was the last year before we got lockers, so our only storage was the cubby under the desk.) We always had a bathroom/drink break at the same time, and this became part of my plan. I wanted everyone to leave the class so I could go past his desk (which happens to be in the opposite direction for me to leave) and slip the note in. Unfortunately, some kids stayed behind. I waited so long for them to leave that other kids started to come back. I knew my window of opportunity was closing, so I just hurried over to his desk, tossed it in and quickly left to get a drink.... I *thought* I had made it without being seen. Boy was I wrong.... Not long after, we all went to gym. My crush approached me, letter in hand. He asked nicely if I gave it to him, but I saw all his friends standing back and laughing their heads off. I quickly realized I had just made the worst mistake ever. He wasn't going to reciprocate my feelings; I was about to be set up to be teased mercilessly. So, I did what any self-respecting tween would do...and lied through my teeth. Nope, not me, I did not write that. (not a total lie, since my mom technically wrote it, LOL). Crush then stood in front of the class and asked who sent him the letter. He wanted to know since it was so sweet. I kept my lips sealed even though everyone's eyes were on me. A few moments later, one of his friends and most popular mean-girl in the class, jumped up and said, "It was me! I did it! I like you!".... It was so blaringly obvious that they were trying to pull a reverse psychology trick and get me to say, 'No you didn't! I did!', but I wasn't going to fall for that. I continued to stay quiet. Finally, the day ended, and I crossed his name out of every diary entry that mentioned him, vowing to never like him again...Instead, I started to crush on his best friend! Thankfully, I learned my lesson and never sent him a love letter!
Your mum sounds so sweet though. Unfortunately my mum would have punished me if she even found out I had a crush on someone so I really enjoy reading about parents who aren't just ok with it but actually supportive and sweet about it.
The guy I wanted to ask me to a dance in 3rd year actually asked me. I freaked out so much I just started screaming “no” and I couldn’t figure out why I kept saying no. I was seriously trying to say “I would like to go but I need to ask my parents.” He avoided me after that, even though I was trying to tell him I wanted to with him. I don’t blame him though… I did keep yelling no. 😂
I have food obsessions that started when I was first pregnant. So when I was pregnant I got addicted to Cadbury Easter eggs & was buying them by the box so I would still have these Easter eggs post Easter, then it was peanut butter etc. Many yrs later I’m still dealing with these obsessive food choices that spring out of nowhere. I’ll be over a friends house and try a chocolate I’ve never tried and I’m on that choc like a drug for months until another food comes along that kills that last one. It’s nuts I hate & love it at the same time
Toni I was also a #twihard, I had a shrine of Twilight posters (cutouts from magazines and printed photos) on my bedroom wall above my bedhead, and I was a forum gal (I spent every day on Twilighters Anonymous)💀. Twilight was my entire personality between ages 12-15, and tapered off around 16. What makes matters worse is that I was that unpopular kid in Year 7 with underdeveloped social skills whose only friend was in the year below, so I was bullied anyway and then I became obsessed with Twilight, before the movies came out, so everyone in my class bullied me for it and even wrote "Twilight sucks" all over my Year 7 leavers shirt when everyone was signing their goodbye messages. The kicker is, when I got to high school at the start of Year 8, a couple months after the first movie was released, my primary school bullies ran up to me going "Zosia!! We watched Twilight and it's AMAZING!!" 😡😡 Also, my twilight obsession makes sense in hindsight now knowing I was an undiagnosed lil ADHDer (and now provisionally registered psychologist). My question to these commenters with past all-encompassing obsessions- are you perchance neurodivergent?? 🤔 Some of these obsessions read as autistic special interests or ADHD hyperfixations
I have Adhd that went undiagnosed until I was 19, and I was super obsessed with vampires and writing emo fanfiction from ages 12-15. Also pretty heavily bullied and didn't develop passable social skills until adulthood, pretty much. I'm continually amazed and a little pissed off that practically every weird thing I've done in my life is related to ADHD. 😅
I'm ASD and possibly ADHD as well, and I am NEVER merely "interested" in something. At 13 it was probably everything Ray Bradbury ever wrote. That was one of them, anyway. At 15 it was theatre. At 14, I think it was astrology.
I’m my late teens, early 20’s I was O SESSED with Buffy the vampire Slayer, in 6 seasons, I only missed watching ONE episode live, and that was because I went on a family holiday with no tv- I still got my friend to record it for me. I used to tape and rewatch each episode for the 7days after it aired, and there are still a few episodes I’m sure I could quote the ENTIRE episode from start to finish- despite not having watched the show for nearly 15 years!🤷♀️😅😂🥰
I used to be like the fish person but with The Legend Of Zelda. I would get so mad over people making mistakes about it. I still love it but I've cooled off alot.
My obsession story: so obsessed with pool I started skipping class (uni student) to play. Literally had six papers to write in a week but still played for eight hours one of the nights that week. Sad thing is I’m not even good
I go through phases of obsessions, it started when I was 7 & loved Junie B Jones books more than life itself. The obsessions that stuck are my endless love for the history of civilization & Harry Potter. 😅
I’m so obsessed with Asian dramas that in the past 10 years- I can count on one hand the number of times I love watched ANYTHING in the English Language/without subtitles!🤷♀️👍🏻😅🥰 (the last thing I watched in English was “Wednesday”)
Okay, so my obsession was with Nick Carter from the backstreet boys. I wish I could say I was 13, but I was like 23 years old. Back then we couldn't see our fave celebs on youtube, so when they came on tv, you had to get a VHS tape to record it, so you could watch it over and over. I remember being at my boyfriends who looked just like Nick and finding out the Backstreet boys were going to be on TV and I called my mom and told she had to tape it. I lost it when she said she wouldn't. (Again I'm 23 years old) So my bf who looked like Nick, cheated on me. I no longer find Nick Carter attractive but I think that's due to my ex. He ruined Nick Carter for me lol.
Omg, I totally did the vhs recording thing. But my obsession was with a pro wrestler. Every match or interview or any air-time he had, I had to press record as soon as it started. Lol. I still have those stupid tapes somewhere. I still think he's hot, but I did stop being obsessed. Eventually. Hehe.
It tells you everything about my middle school and high school experiences with boys that I physically contracted into myself waiting for the shit to hit the fan with poor Francine. Honestly went better than I anticipated 😂
I had the blanket, as the first film was released when I was 10. I'm 25 now, and about two years ago, I got to pass the blanket on to my youngest brother (14 at the time) and he cannot sleep without knowing where it is now.
"I don't know if that's so nice or really sad" Aww Tonys mum misusing office resources is sweet. The fact she had to do that is pretty sad. But I do love passionate people!
my mom kept putting a quarter gallon of SUGAR into her gallon of koolaid, we were going through sugar weekly, like a 15-20 pound BAG of sugar, something that used to take months to go through with a family of 4, now shes a type 2 diabetic, I screamed at her plenty about how much sugar she uses. Been in many fights and now one 3 day trip to the ER shes not allowed to have any sugar.
As a teenager, I was balls-to-the-walls OBSESSED with the musical CATS. I gave all of my friends CATS names like Tumblebrutis and Bombalurina, made them watch the pro-shot on repeat, and would dance alone in my room to the choreography (not a dancer). This all culminated in me being cast in an abridged, dubbed production of CATS on Ice the summer before college (not a figure skater). Today, I'm still ready to die on a hill for CATS and will shoot down any ties to the 2019 film. Fuck the film!!
I hated that movie so so much 😂 I kept falling asleep in the theater and my fiancé kept poking me to wake up because his sweet mom loves the musical and she invited us because she didn’t want to go alone. I felt bad for sleeping but that was one of the worst movies I’ve ever seen 😂
I love this! I remember seeing cats when I was 8 or 9 (so 35+ yrs ago? ouch) and the song Memories made me cry, just hearing the music, well thru high school...my mom sobs at Le Miz so she gets it lol ...I ❤️ Bombalurina 😂
I was so unhealthily obsessed with the band Green Day. I still adore them but I’ll just say this…I, a 13 year old, was also in an online MSN or Yahoo messenger relationship with Billie Joe Armstrong. For sure it was real.

For me it was Taylor Lautner.... I had a to scale cardboard cut out of him from the twilight movies- the kind of card board cut outs you get from the movie theater. This cardboard character stood in my bedroom for 6 years, and I would take time each week to dust it. Sometimes I would talk to it- not full conversations but like the young teenage idyllic "what do you think of my outfit?" on my way out the door for school in the morning.... I was in high school. I was a senior in highschool asking cardboard if it liked my outfit. Halloween of my senior year, I put on a really big fake engagement ring and the most expensive clothes I owned, which in the 2010's included leapord print, and carried the cardboard cut out of Taylor Lautner around. I told everyone that for Halloween I was Taylor Lautners wife. I went to a summer camp ever year, and my senior year of highschool year I took the cardboard cutout with me. I was ruthlessly made fun of, to the point that the counselors wanted me to fold him up and store him under my bunk because they were sick of me yelling at people saying reasonable comments like "aren't you too old for that?" and "why do you even have that?" I always passionately defended my obsession with the purple rage fits a nerd takes to defending dnd. I didn't actually fold up the damn cardboard cutout until the week OF MY WEDDING..... I figured..... well I'm not marrying him, so I should do my future husband a favor and go ahead and discard him. I was 20. 20 years old before I threw it away.
i had a crush on a 9th grade boy that was the captain of the swim team who looked like a professional surfer/model. i was in 7th grade and the moment i saw him i was in love. so one day at lunch his friend caught me starting at my crush and he tapped his friend and pointed at me. i was mortified and looked down at my lunch table. the next day i got a note from one of the popular girls who bullied me in P.E. i nervously i opened the note and unexpectedly it was from my crush and he had gave me his phone number. i was so happy and excited but my sister reminded that my bully could have found out about me looking at my crush and decided to mess with me so they could bully me more if i called the number. so i got too scared to ever call but i always kept the note and i would admire him from a far till he graduated. flash forward me now 25 finds my school crush on Facebook. so i message him and tell him i did get the note he wrote me in school but was too scared to call but i did always like him. he did message me back he said he did remember me and he said he liked me a lot too but when i never called he thought maybe i didn’t like him after all. but unfortunately he had a gf and a baby on the way. we’re still friends on fb but we don’t talk to respect his relationship. me 33 he’s now single now on fb and so am but i just got out of a very abusive 4 year long relationship so i’m still putting myself back together again. i still look at his fb and like his posts. maybe one day we will finally be together you never know.
I shit you not, the next video I clicked on of yours started with a froot loop ad! I didn’t know whether to laugh or not.. love the content guys! You two make my day ❤
There's only one thing I remember actually being obsessed with as a kid and that was the movie Land of the Lost with Will Ferrell and Danny McBride. Blockbuster still existed at the time, so every single Friday my dad would take my sister and me to blockbuster and we got to pick one movie each. For probably a whole year I always picked that movie. I could recite most of it by the end of that year. It's been about 10 years since the last time I watched it and I'm sure I could recite half of it by heart if I were to watch it tomorrow
To Chloe from Syndey - as an adult participating in fish forums (AusAqua etc) and breeding Betta circa 2005 - 2010 just wanted you to know - it's OK 😂 you did not hurt our feelings 😂 😂 😂
My obsession was the Backstreet Boys! My bedroom walls were completely covered from floor to ceiling and my entire ceiling around the light...I knew their favorite colors, full names, where they were from, their birthdays, etc...and I still love them to this day... and I'm still a #Twihard
I relate hard to the diabetes one. I get obsessed with a certain food and that's all I want to eat. It was chocolate chip muffins for years. Recently my obsession is Iced Cappuccinos from Tim Hortons. Might be an addiction thing? It's always sugar or carbs. But yeah now I have diabetes lol. It was caught early so I don't need insulin. Just a couple pills a day and try to be healthier.
I can compare to that love letter story in the beginning to one of my own in 6th grade. Block Class teacher had us write stories, poems, experiences in a journal. Some students can probe picked to read them aloud to the class. I wrote a love poem directed to my crush, who knew I liked him and he already rejected me. I got chosen to read mine aloud and he knew exactly who I was talking about. Gave off total stalker in the making vibes, hard. Dude, I stopped obsessing over people in Middle School, wish I learned my lesson sooner before that moment in time.
I wrote a "will you go out with me note" to a boy in high school who turned out to already have a gf, plus obviously he didn't like me bc he never even responded to the letter in any way. Those memories seem so horrifically awkward and life-ending but if you just forget for a second that it was you, they become just average teenage things that happen to lots of people. The first cut is the deepest 😂😂
Fellow twihard here. I'm 29, when Toni said back in the day we didn't have a printer I got confused about Toni's age. Turns out we're the same age xD Maybe Australia didn't have printers? Because we most certainly did and I most certainly did printout rpatz images to cover my dayplanner and room and laptop.
An obsession I had began in 2nd grade, and it was with even numbers. Everything I did, from steps to the classroom, to clapping at assembly, to number of times I chewed my food, had to be in even numbers. In adulthood I realized it was OCD due to a difficult home environment, but my gosh was it all consuming. I'm genuinely surprised not one of my teachers thought it was odd enough to mention at a parent teacher conference. Side note, I'm much better now as a 40 year old, so proof positive kids can grow out of their idiosyncrasies with enough counseling.
i was soo obsessed with cats when i was young that i brought a XXL dog bed and put that on top on my mattress, i would sleep curled up in the dog bed under my blanket and pretend i was a cat. ( i also wore cat gloves and ears to like 18 months)

This was me, except I was extremely obsessed with My Chemical Romance and writing tons of self-insert fanfiction. I'd ABSOLUTELY have bullied 12-15 year old me, and I don't really blame anyone who did lol
I was and still am obsessed with Australia! I'll watch any Aussie show, just so I can hear the accent. I read books about it, watch documentaries, eat vegemite, love Timtams, visit every chance I get (which is about every 2 years) And I've even done some of the online citizen tests to see if I could pass (I did, yay) Hopefully one day I can move there!
I'm kinda jealous. I'm more of "escape fascist shithole" situation, but I don't know where to go. I don't feel very attracted to any place, just hate it here. Wish I did, it'd be a great motivation 🥲 I'm eyeing Australia or NZ but mostly because they're ones of the most developed ones😅

That is literally the only thing she ate from 18 to 35. 3 to 5 times a day, every day of the week. She had her first heart attack at 35. And celebrate it, her family went and got McDonald’s and ate it in front of her. There’s your obsession
My obsession is Trent Reznor from NIN! 1st serious boyfriend accused me of wanting to cheat because I said if I had the opportunity I would totally fudge Trent Reznor! He broke up with me... @@tude17 Very true. Being obsessed with something for a few days or weeks and then absolutely being completely done with it. I still do it at 37.

Yes, adults still have obsession/repetition in their lives, to differing degrees depending on their personalities, but the extent to which adolescents get obsessed is usually quite different.

11:34 ‘Did she put her son in the oven?’….. granted Toni looked horrified, but this is the moment where we realize Toni’s mind is a dark dark place 😂😂
Ahha THIS is the moment?
I love watching Toni laugh with her whole heart. I can’t help but join in.
I think the beta fish kid was totally justified! 😂 Some people truly abuse their pets.
+
Everyone knows if you don’t keep your betta in a 1,000 gallons then it’s an automatic fish abuse accusation 😉 IYKYK
I came to comment the same thing.
In America, people keep Beta fish in tiny decorative "bowls" or vases about 10-15cm across. I'm not a fish person, but even I think it's cruel!
You guys do know you can’t keep two or more beta fish together right? They are violent and will literally kill each other
@@christinamccarthy6524 it doesn't mean they have to be kept in tiny vases, though
@@wombatnumbat989 I never had mine in a bowl. I had an entire tank with multi levels and plants.

Getting scurvy from the orange challenge is the funniest result.
This is completely deranged but I thoroughly enjoyed reading it.
This comment deserves a reddit award if you could do it. SCREW TITO
This comment is as entertaining as the video. You should turn this story into deranged traumatizing pixar film.

A few of my friends and sisters’ friends were obsessed with him as he did, indeed, look like Robert at the time. I understand Toni, I understand!
Also, the man has barely aged in the last thirteen years. Should I be worried? 😂
It would help to add that he is a Pattinson twin, only two inches shorter. I’d say more Water for Elephants vibe.

The irony of the diabetic story is in fact very funny. I love that kind of humour. I'm afraid of taking medication due to childhood trauma and will only take some unless absolutely necessary. Plot twist: I now need medication to stay alive. The universe pulled a hard uno-reverse there. Hilarious. XD
Dude me too! Mine is just pills. Is yours all medication?
@@cassieandchloe1 Mine are mostly pills, one is through an IV though. The central line one is easier to deal with since I don’t have to physically swallow the pills. I just need to change the cassette and the pump does the rest.

Don’t worry Toni, I too was uncomfortably obsessed with RPatz… and one of my moms good friends happens to live in Forks 😂😂😂 I had so much merch
I found my people 😂

If he left her on the floor crying he probably wanted to say no. Maybe her hyperventilation saved her from hearing mean things.
The guy I wanted to ask me to a dance in 3rd year actually asked me.
I freaked out so much I just started screaming “no” and I couldn’t figure out why I kept saying no.
I was seriously trying to say “I would like to go but I need to ask my parents.”
He avoided me after that, even though I was trying to tell him I wanted to with him.
I don’t blame him though… I did keep yelling no. 😂
You poor thing! That's embarrassing. Thanks for sharing cuz it was hilarious
It’s nuts I hate & love it at the same time
Toni's laugh is SO contagious 🤣
'beta' fish in that accent sounded like 'better' fish and I was like what? lolol
We watched Twilight and it's AMAZING!!" 😡😡
Also, my twilight obsession makes sense in hindsight now knowing I was an undiagnosed lil ADHDer (and now provisionally registered psychologist). My question to these commenters with past all-encompassing obsessions- are you perchance neurodivergent?? 🤔 Some of these obsessions read as autistic special interests or ADHD hyperfixations
Yeah, I had the same issue as you did and I'm in the process of figuring it out at age 24😅😂
It’s fairly common even if you’re not neurodivergent to have these in adolescence.
It’s a bit different when you’re an adult.
@@Gina.Murasso I was suuuuch a twihard fan also. Twilight everything. So obsessed. Used to get bullied for wearing my team Edward shirt. 😂😂
I’m my late teens, early 20’s I was O SESSED with Buffy the vampire Slayer, in 6 seasons, I only missed watching ONE episode live, and that was because I went on a family holiday with no tv- I still got my friend to record it for me. I used to tape and rewatch each episode for the 7days after it aired, and there are still a few episodes I’m sure I could quote the ENTIRE episode from start to finish- despite not having watched the show for nearly 15 years!🤷♀️😅😂🥰
My mom used to do the exact same for me - I was just as big of a fan! One of the very special memories I have of my late mother 💓

John Partridge is singlehandedly responsible for a large percentage of the current furry menace, I'll wager. 😸

Turns out we're the same age xD
Maybe Australia didn't have printers? Because we most certainly did and I most certainly did printout rpatz images to cover my dayplanner and room and laptop.

what a confidence boost so like she hasn't even met you yet she's literally just heard your name and she's like "I love that name. franciiiiine"
I think the phenomenon of covering your textbooks at the start of the school year is entombed in our past and the memory will die with us.
I’m still obsessed with the same things I was obsessed with as a kid. I wish I was cool.
This is definitely in the top 5 most horrific sexual assault/murder cases. She was ALIVE for all of it. I couldn't sleep right for a few days after hearing all of the details
I'm a fellow Toni, but I was with Ryan on the JJ from the Ducks. 😂

I was OBSESSED with Ian Thorpe. My entire, ENTIRE, wall was covered with Ian Thorpe posters. This was around the 2000 Olympics, hence being able to access them. I would pash, not just a kiss, a fucking pash mate, at night before going to bed. Oof, when I found out he was gay.
I had Jessie Spencer posters back in the day.
I’d love to see this whole episode. 😂 I wonder what he was going to say before she reminded him of that gem! 😂🤣
I go through obsessions in phases and once one gets hold of me, its there forever... The good thing is i know so much trivia about many things, the bad thing thats all i can talk about for months, sometime years

My brother married into a kind of psychotic family. His sister-in-law decided McDonald’s fries were the shit. That is literally the only thing she ate from 18 to 35. 3 to 5 times a day, every day of the week. She had her first heart attack at 35. And celebrate it, her family went and got McDonald’s and ate it in front of her. There’s your obsession
I’ve just recently found Toni and Ryan and I’ve been wondering what the heck tarp is for weeks now
