I gasped when I saw that flashback scene at the beginning of the episode. That wasn't in the book at all. But I could tell they were setting up Percy's fall into the river with it. I love wonderful the writing team is at creating new content that flows seamlessly with the original book content. It's amazing.
Rick said himself that with over 20 years of retrospective, there were some things he wish he could have added or removed. He is doing that here and I am not complaining 😭💙
@@augustbrown9711 Right?! That's one of the many reasons why this show is so phenomenal. I'm mind blown about how new and fresh it is while still being the story that stole my heart as a teenager. I can't even comprehend how lucky we are to have this.
