This show violates the Twilight Zone rule. which says you're allowed one major suspension of disbelief plot device per episode. Any plot twists and turns after that must be traced back as logical consequences of that first one. Good writers will start with one such device and then get where they want to be by building on that, not by adding one random/improbable thing on top of another.
There were many illogicalities' like Being that near of a early A star would melt everyone instantly and 90% oxygen would instantly suffocate any human anf you can't see dark matter it's everywhere. But I agree with this one too but this is a webseries so per episode doesn't necessarily apply here.

And then a spider appears, and it's angry to be awoken after 3257 years so it makes it rain all over earth for ten minutes. This plot is ALL OVER THE PLACE.
All space movies often leave one wondering “how did this imbeciles ever make it up to space?”; “With such power struggle & irrational thinking, how did they even manage to make it off the planet?”
Even on earth we see innovation can be helped by government, but is often outside if not in spite of government. Although benevolent leaders can come to power, they’re not eternal & in all cases will be replaced, almost always by those with lesser values (though many may view lesser values as different or even greater).

It's a shame in a way that this show was so unfocused. There were some cool ideas, but the writers just didn't seem to be able to explore any one idea properly, and instead it became a bit of a mess. The recap didn't clarify, but it's not the fault of the recap, it's just a very confusing and almost overwhelming series!
