This show violates the Twilight Zone rule. which says you're allowed one major suspension of disbelief plot device per episode. Any plot twists and turns after that must be traced back as logical consequences of that first one. Good writers will start with one such device and then get where they want to be by building on that, not by adding one random/improbable thing on top of another.

There were many illogicalities' like Being that near of a early A star would melt everyone instantly and 90% oxygen would instantly suffocate any human anf you can't see dark matter it's everywhere. But I agree with this one too but this is a webseries so per episode doesn't necessarily apply here.

This is what you get when you mix Kodak film 🎥 and garbage from a landfill 🗑️ you get "another life" it was a very very very bad storyline with average acting and decent VFX and CGI.. roll it all together you get a flop that was 1 of very few shows that deserved to be cancelled by Netflix. Now that alone should tell you all exactly what to expect from "another life" (should have been called "another mistake")

Although benevolent leaders can come to power, they’re not eternal & in all cases will be replaced, almost always by those with lesser values (though many may view lesser values as different or even greater).

I think either a panspermia idea would be fun or have completely alien life which would never be able to directly interact with us due to the handedness of molecules. Or a story about how an interstellar ship left with a postmortal crew with hibernation technology and comes back after a few thousand years and humanity on earth entered a new dark age and are essentially back to classical antiquity period so they have to steer human development again.
This show felt like they recruited dysfunctional high schoolers to man the most important mission ever undertaken by man kind. This is the kind of trash that gives science fiction a bad name.

Ending is pretty dumb. If a race of beings was smart enough to build an ai that could topple them and take over, then surely that same AI would've encountered viruses that tried to stop it from taking over in the first place. Heck, even the neutron part is pretty dumb as well. You're telling me the alien civilization that colonized a galaxy has never encountered a star blowing up?

This is just a recap and it bored me to death. Things happen just because they need plot and solutions that don't make sense appear.
Most confusing convoluted thing I've ever watched.
And then a spider appears, and it's angry to be awoken after 3257 years so it makes it rain all over earth for ten minutes. This plot is ALL OVER THE PLACE.
This show is what you get when you give 12 year olds an early version of ChatGPT and ask them to write science fiction.
Manage to watch 10 minutes of this program than fast forwarded through the rest. I’m just shocked and amazed that somebody could raise enough cash for this production to be made. Acting as fair script is absolutely atrocious with no attention to actual scientific process.

I love how they killed off all the hated characters in the first episode of season 2 and left just the good actors alive, with the exception of the trans and the fat guy. Hilarious
I also watched part of it; the first half of the first episode turned me off when the script started to get “alphabetical.”

It took me a half hour to realise why the guy playing Nico's husband gave me bad vibes. Then I realised that he's played by the guy who should have ABSOLUTELY refused the role of Goku in the Dragonball movie.

It’s interesting. It’s good, but there are at least three types of “aliens”. Some are cool, some aren’t.
They left the discovery of … I don’t know, 150 million _other_ types of aliens until the very end. But it’s good, they all like us and want to be friends. Only after we figure out how to deal with the problem aliens. (It just amazes me that _we_ aren’t the problematic aliens.)

"The oxygen is at 19%, so she takes her helmet and can breathe" bruh, its wild that the average person actually believes that oxygen is all we need to breathe instead of a carefully balanced mixture of oxygen, nitrogen, and miniscule amounts of other trace minerals which we have adapted from Earth's atmosphere, smh. At least the movie Prometheus got that part somewhat right in their plot when one of the scientists corrected the other when when saying that the trace amounts were to high to breathe naturally

Ian maybe was going to stab Nico in the back, but never got that chance if so. In that scene, Ian moved in looking like he was about to attack Nico... whether he was going to attack her or just wanted to save some face by proving to her that he COULD take her out if he wanted ... is never known as Nico did not take any chances upon seeing him looking menacing, and immediately ended him in case he WAS about to try to kill her. This serves to demonstrate how important it would be in any such future mission that professionals be selected to crew the flight rather than recruiting a random dysfunctional CW drama level parody of a crew.
This show is proof that anyone can be a writer for a tv show. It's like a child wrote this. Every time a problem emerges the writer just makes ip somthing simple to solve it. Never any depth, just problem after problem and a simple made ficticious solution to solve it. This show also shows how simple most people are with how many seasons this show aired for.
