Hola amigo! We are Greg and Hillary - a husband and wife team that loves traveling, going on adventures, and helping others do the same! For the past two years or so we have been living in and traveling through Mexico! We have lived in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico City, and Querétaro. Additionally we have traveled to a few other places within Mexico such as Puebla, Huasteca Potosina, Monterrey, Zacatecas, Guanajuato, San Miguel de Allende, Cancún, Aguascalientes, Morelia, Guadalajara, Cholula, Oaxaca, Puerto Escondido, Huatulco, and a Valle de Bravo, Tulum, and a few others 😃

Los veo Hilaria y Gregorio comiendo maíz, tortilla, enchiladas etc., diferenciando el sabor de una verdadera tortilla de maíz a comparación del sabor (que les hacen creer que eso comemos en México) de la comida mexicana en USA, y me alegra que sean testigos de la variedad de sabores olores etc de la comida en cada parte de México ( aparte de la cultura) .
Asco la comida de Mèxico en el gabacho.

Pues la verdad , no creo, es la manera en como lo preparas, el.conocimiento que puedas llegar a tener de como preparar un buen platillo, la.comida mexicana en estados unidos no se compara a la de México, y no es por los ingredientes, simplemente por qué los.que se consideran cocineros de esta comida, no han investigado lo suficiente, no saben usar los ingredientes, ejemplo, mi mamá hace mole en Veracruz, no es por nada pero no solo le he dicho yo, si no, cada persona que ha probado el mole que ella prepara que es muy sabroso si no el mejor que eh probado, y ahora que vivo aquí en estados unidos, me doy cuenta que aquí cuentan con todos los ingredientes, lo tienen a la mano, pero no saben prepararlo, algo tan fácil como las salsas, tampoco saben preparar.
Mira el ejemplo de estos gringos, Goyo y Hilary, se maravillan de los sabores y es porque la gente que ha emigrado a estados unidos no necesariamente eran o son cocineros.
Eh vivido mucho tiempo en estados unidos, y la verdad hasta ahora no eh encontrado buena comida mexicana, y me da coraje que lleve la etiqueta de comida mexicana, porque no le hace honor a la gastronomía de ese hermoso país.
I'm Tex Mex and we use a variety of sauces and homemade tortillas passed down for generations. There are plenty of family cooks that know how to make the sauces. They're just not sold commercially at restaurants. We call the classic red TexMex enchiladas COWBOY Enchiladas.

I am from Mexico City and currently live in TX. The only place that has Mexican food here that actually tastes like Mexican food is Tres Niñas in Hurst near Bedford. I always have the chilaquiles with two eggs over easy and extra sauce!. Check it out next time you are in Texas, you won't be disappointed.

What’s the difference between real enchiladas and Texas enchiladas? I think it’s that Texas uses canned red sauce, store bought tortillas and cheddar cheese. Mexico uses fine cheeses, handmade tortillas and homemade sauces.

My moms Mole Poblano enchiladas are the bomb followed by her green chicken enchiladas. So glad that she wrote me her receipts so I can continue to eat them for a while longer.

I recently saw an asian guy who travels sampling food. He hired a driver to take him in search of homemade mole' negro and the driver's mother made it for him from scratch. It was amazing to watch and my mouth watered watching him eat that mole' over chicken.
I wish I could remember the name of his channel but you should try to find it.

Those enchiladas looked delicious!! Oh and yes convenience stores are definitely not convenient here in the States, they pretty much charge at least double the price and a lot of time triple or more for items. Love your videos guys, these regular life videos are great because they bring back so many memories of a few weeks ago when I was in Mexico enjoying it to the max

When ever I went to Mexico city I would get enchiladas de mole. There was an older guy who made the very BEST of them. I can still taste them just remembering. Wonderful memories. You guys always bring back a lot of memories of my childhood. Thanks for that!!
