Hi Guys, welcome to this double reaction! Subtitles should be enabled, so let me know if there should be any issues! ;) I do both the singer version and the bastau version. I hope you appreciate the video. Thank you so much for watching!

Yes, that's his sister and family. Ms. Han Hong, the original composer-singer of the song called him during the competition and she calls Dimash her second adopted son adoringly. And the fountains are real in his concert, not projections.😊

Thank you for doing both in this order, understanding the story behind this is truly necessary to take in how much emotion is portrayed and why it’s portrayed, Dimash puts everything he had into each performance. Daybreak is absolutely heartbreaking. I liked your funny moments at the end, it lightened the mood, thank goodness. Thank you, Yuri ❤️

For Christmas you can help a deserving performance of Dimash reach 1 Million views.. we’re so close, Autumn Strong Arnau is at 980,000 & counting. ruclips.net/video/437IEsDIZfE/видео.html This is in Chinese, a song he won best song in China for previously. This was in Kiev, his last concert to date- his tour cut short bc of Covid. Then Dimash just released Ikanaide- the same song, in Japanese (his 1st time singing in Japanese), exquisitely sung in a studio. Bear in mind the 2 languages have different lyrics, with subtle differences in meaning. He of course creates 2 distinct masterpieces. Ikanaide ruclips.net/video/X2SDVmU33Kg/видео.html

    • @lolawants2008

Regardless if he chooses to highlight, anyone reading this can help Autumn Strong Arnau reach a million views right now just by playing it through while you brush your teeth or wash the dishes 🤗 If you did this soon enough Yuri you could literally be the one to take him over the edge!! haha. It’s averaging about 2k views every 12hrs.. so it should reach 1M in 20 days unless someone speeds up the process (hint hint)😏

I just discovered Dimash a month ago and I truly believe he is the best singer male or female in the entire world. It's not just his out of this world technical abilities but his presence and the way he conveys and interpret the song he sings. I don't understand any of his songs but they still move me emotionally because he gives his performance 100% each time. I actually really like the singers version now knowing the story behind it. This just shows how great he is not letting his fans down and continued to sing even though he was not 100% but I still believe he sang it so great. Thank you Dimash for being such a light and inspiration to man kind.

I just listened to this song for the first time, today, only bastau performance. Soon I paid attention to the english subtitles and suddenly burst into tears. I am a single mom and imagined me dieing and leaving my boy alone in this world with strangers. He is 7 years old.
The same thing happens when I listen to rockabye baby song.
Now I am searching for reactions to see other people feeling the emotion of the song.

I've often thought that the physical pain he was in when he sang in Singer added to the emotional pain of the song. And watch how awkwardly he got up after singing from his knees. He looked exhausted. The second performance is more virtuoso, and is my favorite of the two musically, but the Singer version has a special place in my heart.

The young lady is Rashun, his younger sister. He adores her to the moon and back.
She is now in college with a goal of being a Medical Doctor. She is also a fine equestrian and often accompanies her brother
when he is performing out of country. Their father, (Kanat) is always with Dimash as he is his manager and Dimash want him there to be held accountable. They are a highly moral Muslim family and very close as a family. There are videos of Dimash
holding Rashun and Monsur (his younger brother). He gladly takes any infant and holds them in his arms and cuddles them and kisses them on their cheeks or head. If a baby in his arms gets fussy, he is not one to give them back to the mother or father but gently quiets them. A really nice fellow.

Dimash produces many emotions and you have to live them, he was born with a special light and with a purpose like all those born during the beginning of humanity. God bless so much talent and light your way. Thank you for your emotional reaction 🌹

I remember this accident. It was covered globally, newstations from all over the world.. I was in my early twenties and it really shoked me. As I remember it it was a very difficult rescue-operation that lasted for many, many hours. I don't think all the ones who passed fell imediately.. People were clinging on for their lives and I THINK there was more than one "car" involved. Maybe one fell directly and one dangeled in the sky, I'm not sure.. But I remember that the rescue was extremely difficult because of the hight and maybe even weathersurcomstances. And it also got dark after some time, and they unfortunately had to pause the rescueoperation over night with people still alive in the car/cars..
The whole thing wasn't over until the next day.
    At "Daybreak", I guess..
That's how I think the song got its name. But that is just MY personal way of thinking..
I don't know how many survivors there where besides the boy. But if I recall it right, there were some at least that managed to get to the rescuepersonal in time.
There is very little reporting to read on the internet about the accident. And in that limited reporting it sounds like the car went down imediately. And somehow the parents "held the boy up" so he wasn't really injured at all. But the drop was tremedes.. So I can't se how that was possible..
I think the rescueoperation was very chaotic and difficult and longlasting, but now the only information left is that suddenly the car (that was carrying more people than it should have) just dropped. But that's not at all how I remember it...
Peace and Love from fellow-Dear in Sweden.

Like now, you will understand it, the words about his range will be littlier and littlier. For me his voice, range is an instrument, i listen the music across it. Always it has meaning, if he sings higth or low to feel better the song. But we know, it need time after the sock what we had first because his range and technic. After you will feel more the emotions in his performances, you will fell that everything is perfect on stage, behind the stage, in the all group behind him, because the love is shining across them work. 😂 Oh what happend? I speak tooo much 😂 Love and hug to you! ❤️ 🇭🇺

I agree with you. Dimash lives his internal life very intensely, and his music allows him to express it. I think this is true of many artists, whether Beyonce or Amy Winehouse, many artists go into another skin on stage, one that they can't necessarily express in their normal life.

Hello , personally this is one of the most emotional, and powerful performances by Dimash. He was really very sick, they gave him 3 injections, and even so, he felt very bad, and he could not give his 100% that, it made me very sad for him. In the second, he can give himself completely, it shows in his voice. The water sources are natural. I look forward to reactions to "Aikinade" Sublime.

Great reaction Yuri. So glad you did both videos and got the back story - it adds so much weight to Dimash’s remarkable performances. His performance on The Singer was all the more incredible because of his illness - apparently he lost his voice again immediately after the performance. The same happened in his London concert where he was very sick but he went on regardless and miraculously recovered to complete the concert.
FYI, that other guy is Jason Zhang - another competitor and also an amazing singer. If I remember correctly, Dimash wished him good luck because, as the lowest scoring singer in the previous round, his place on the show was in jeopardy. Hard to believe because in my opinion he was one of the best - here’s one of his performances from the show:

Also I believe Dimash said he couldn’t believe what he could do in the Singer performance & that his voice left him him as soon as he left the stage.. he is a man of great faith & credit that with the ability to make it through the song.

Hello dear, In an interview Dimash said he had four injections, he sang feeling like he had broken glass in his throat and after
the presentation lost its voice again!. He feels that it was God who helped him interpret the song.
And on Gloria's website you will find the story about "Autumn Strong" another beautiful song with a deeply moving tone that only Dimash knows how to deliver.

I know you've already reacted to "Ave Maria," so maybe your Christmas feature could be another emotional song with a back story, "Ikanaide," which was performed by Dimash as "Autumn Strong" (or "Late Autumn") in China in 2017 but is performing it in Japanese in this recent video for the Tokyo Jazz Festival. You mentioned that "Daybreak" was the first song to make you feel so emotional but if you learn the back story to this song before responding to it I think you will find that it is as intensely emotional as "Daybreak."

Hi Yuri, thanks for a great reaction. Indeed it’s good to check the background story behind the song. It gives more depth to his interpretations. Beautiful and sad song. In actual fact this story is more tragic then what they described in the video. The parents didn’t push the child out of danger as they were inside a falling cable. In their desperation to safe their child, split second decision, they raised the child with their arms above them and as the cable crushed the child was cushioned by their bodies. Their last piece of hope to save their son. A display of pure love.
As this reaction was so great why not do something similar with Autumn Strong with the background story, you’ll find it in Gloria Wu channel, here he sings in Chinese for the first time followed by his performance at this year Tokyo Jazz Festival where he sings the original song in Japanese for the first time. Take care

Great reaction! The fountain behind him represents the waterfalls where the accident took place. Being Dimash a loving and devoted person of his family he said he was very moved with this story because he could not imagine life without them. You can see the pain in his eyes 😞Beautiful … 🎤❤️🔝🌹🌹🌹👏👏👏
