in Sweden, we love what we call skadeglädje. Skadeglädje = rejoicing at or deriving pleasure from the misfortunes of others. malicious enjoyment derived from observing someone else's misfortune. that is why is funny in Sweden.
Do we??😅 I really dont think think we have more of that (skadeglädje) in Sweden than in other countries and I have never heard anyone claim that either. And all people from other countries that I’ve seen react to this understand the humour in it too, so its obviously universal that people like this exist (even though the chatacter of course is very exagerated).
