Too add to what she stated, none of the "what's going on right now" has ever stopped going on. It simply changed form. You know the old saying "same stuff, different day?" Well, it can be applied to eras and generations as well.
I do not understand why she thought she would get slammed for telling the truth. Well, Said.
I loved growing up watching her act! She and I are around the same age!
Such a good actor and a great person. I went to school with her little sister, and she was soooooo cool and such a forward thinking family.
I agree and I might add that people today are more into themselves today.....I often wonder why people really ask to be on my friends page but never say anything....but when they say something they get mad because you don't like or share their comment......that is the definition of vanity everyday in my opinion.

Exactly I just watched this video today and I love Regina king, and going into 2020 for example we keep hearing the same things over and over again it gets on my nerves. I don't need toxic people in my life I'm going to stay away from those people I need a healthy relationship etc. all of these things are great but we as people see these goals set out from people daily on the internet and we too can become too attached to them. and it really takes away from factoring out the real purposes in life. when not everyone is like that and it almost makes everyone like a robot and kind of a bit too independent in reality. but yes don't get me wrong we as human beings do need to play our part of independence as well but it takes away from humanity. also it makes people to emotional and exaggerative.

When I first saw her act on 227 my mom was like look this girl look like you after that I was watching her every week and she was so cute and funny! Now she is a woman and her acting is incredible! Go Girl! Peace! Giving us women hope and a reason to smile!
Regina King is a perfect example that not all "Child Stars" end up a mess. Intelligent, well spoken, hard working; she is great!

Interesting what she said about loosing certain aspects of communicating with the internet. I think VR / virtual reality with the Rift or Vive could potentially change that. At least with the second or third generation of VR headsets.
