Really enjoyed these videos. I personally let all my wax cure 2 months - and if it isn't performing by then I just don't repurchase from that vendor. Thanks for sharing 😊.
Would you be able to make a video on destashing? Like tips and tricks, how to price them, etc.? I've found I've accumulated a lot of wax and I'm not sure how to resell lol. Thank you for these helpful videos!
Love these knowledge videos. I always learn something new. I totally agree with curing you have to let it sit a little. With my SuperTarts I have found letting it sit for a while most definitely helps with the throw.
Where did you get those storing bags and material...want to store small wax cubes in bulk..but was reading that some plastic containers can absorb or extract the scent from melt cubes.
Another informative video Sarah! Thank you for sharing. As I mentioned to Kim, I have been finding that I get zero throw from DW in any part of my open concept home. I have to use the wax only in my bedroom/bathroom...which is a shame. And my items were pitched almost 2 months ago. Thanks for sharing!😀~Kim
I've only ever ordered from two vendors and was somewhat disappointed with the performance. I also noticed that the longest their scent would last was about 4-6 hrs. So I find myself sticking to BHG & Scentsationals.
I usually cure at least a month for Candy Panda. I get just fine throw usually immediately after warming it, but the scents just blend better with time.
KimHeartsOrganizing yea I need to ask some people in the group! I don't know if needs longer than a month or maybe I shouldn't use a whole cube I don't know but they smell great on cold so I feel like I'm doing something wrong
KimHeartsOrganizing I have found that the scents I've tried from DW, I have to put it in smaller rooms (bedroom/bathroom). I get nothing in an open concept sadly. 😀~Kim
Mine work but more so in smaller rooms (bedroom, etc). I'm okay with that due to the complexity of the blends themselves (think laftco, etc.. not super throwers). I also find that I get olfactory fatigue quite quick. Cape cod Coast was extremely light and unfortunately I wouldn't recommend that.
In all my candle making years I've heard of curing for a max of 2 weeks. A month, 6 months a year to two years I've never heard of 🤔

Where did you get that pineapple box again? That's pretty cute! The .98 storage boxes are the best! So convenient

Can I store my wax melts in a zip lock bag or do I need to use a certain bag
How can you wait? I'm not sure if I could do it.
Damn that's disappointing about Destination. I just placed an order - lol. Course I have no problem with waiting longer.

awwww man. I'm definitely an open concept house. hmmmmmm, guess I will wait and see. Maybe I will let it cure for a long time. thanks for your input.
