but this is the first time I've seen such a perfect and wonderful C62 model.

0:03 山口県の笠戸工場で製作を急いでいた国鉄最大の旅客用機関車、「C62」が完成しました。
0:15 1月23日 公式試運転が行われましたが、満員の客車21両を牽いて時速70キロ、東海道線の急行に使われる筈です。
注釈
笠戸工場:日立製作所の車両工場。本州西端の山口県に位置する。
東海道線:東京〜名古屋〜大阪などを結ぶ日本の主要路線。

1:05 this allmost remides me of the galaxy Express 999, is a shame they got replaced by diesels and eletrick engines, but i wonder how many engines of this typ of 62 ar still around in real life?
There are 5 examples that are still around. The locations of all of these are already touched upon in the video. As for the locomotives themselves, C62 1, 2, and 26 are at Kyoto, C62 17 is in Nagoya, and C62 3 is in Hokkaido. If you want a chance to ride one of these in real life, Kyoto is the place to check out!

@@Tralnboy Well, I used to play Densha de Go when I was small, and I quickly recognize it when you mention the race at Nagoya station. It could only be mean the 3400.
