- Sorry for the bad upload schedule, but unfortunately, I don't think it will improve any time soon, I'll still be on a hiatus. But here's a video idea that I came up with that really hasn't been done before on the platform. These are not my clips, credits go to uploaders and producers.

I like how the Big Boy is so prolific it even manages to squirm into anime haha.
I went to the postage stamp show in Omaha when the Big Boy 4014 was there. They had a list of 9 different postage stamps featuring the Big Boy and none of them were U.S.A.
I mean they are pretty iconic
And the way big boy succesfully infiltrated galaxy railways
anime creators must really like C62s
while its one of the most known steam locomotives in japan

C62 for passenger service, D51 for freight. They’re both iconic.
C62 is like the Dreyfuss Hudson of Japan and the D51 is the PRR K-4 of Japan.
More like the PRR L1s class Mikado
I find it weird that, despite how demanding the larger Japanese locomotives were, they didn’t have mechanical stokers. Southern Railway 4501, a locomotive of similar size, needs a mechanical stoker to ensure stable operation.
That always surprised me too, I noticed a lot of European engines don't have them either, I guess they were always more a North American thing
Some of the European steam locomotives had something called a coal pusher in the tender that pushed coal from the back of the tender to the front.
There was a few examples of Japanese steam power being fitted with mechanical stokers, the C62's being the first example that jumps to mind, as well as the D62 2-8-4's.
Kinda par for the course for Japan. They seem to be both ahead and behind in technology. Nowadays they are pretty advanced in structural engineering, along with city layout but they still use fax machines.

I see big one based off the Union Pacific 4001 that has been scrapped but in this series it looks awesome

Well after 9 months he’s finally back.
My favorite train the c62 was used in the brave series such as might gaine, goldran, and dagwon. I really enjoyed transformers transforming from that steam locomotive

My very first anime was Galaxy Express 999. I should go back and watch it again, it's been ages since I've seen it all the way through.

Sadly, Japanese still scraps their Steam Locomotives for various reasons. Money lack, Lazyness, Salt Corrosion or even Tsunami 😢😢😢

To this day, I wonder why did the creator of the Galaxy Railways decide to use an American locomotive instead of making a fictional locomotive or using a lesser-known Japanese locomotive.

Alright. I have a question for y'all. I remember a few years ago that I watched an anime of the Oiwake yard roundhouse fire on the 24th of December, 1975. I can't for the life of me remember it's name, and I'm not the biggest watcher of Anime, so I may be thinking of a specific episode from one of those shows.
