    Material You makes me dizzy. Why on Earth must the background be pastel? Old material design was cleaner

    I understand the inclusive intent here but the different accents don't really make this more approachable.
    Also, the message, or rather the promise doesn't feel clear... It feels like it's meant more to let you say what you want to say, than to offer me value as a viewer.
    It doesn't feel like it was created by designers focused on giving value.
    (That's my first impression)

      You my guy are stuck looking through the tunnel vision of a corporate cog. Value this value that. They made this to be ambiguous. Just interpret it as you will. Not everything needs to have a clear value proposition and an easily prescribable economic value.
