    That looks fun! Thanks for sharing your recipe. But it might be helpful to put in description it has to rest for 1 hour. Thats some important info.

    Reads "no oven bread in 10 mins". Starts making. Gets to the part where it needs to rest for 1 HOUR!... can't say I'm thrilled to have started.

    My sister and I used to make a bread Similar to to yours. The major differences in our recipe is we used baking powder instead of yeast and we put a big block of sharp cheddar cheese in the middle. I want to thank you for your recipe, not only was it delicious but my sister and I giggled and reminisced of Days of old making it. Thank you.

    Hello, I have two questions
    1)what type of dry yeast did you use? Instant dry or active dry?
    2)what kind of flour did you use?

    • @lildemon6816
      @lildemon6816 2 года назад +2

      I believe since it had to rest for an hour, and each combined piece rests for 5mins I’d say confidently this is active dry, not instant.
      And I would hazard to say all purpose flour, if you’re worried sift it or try bread flour. But my best guess is all purpose. I’ve made a few pan breads and every one of them used active yeast and all purpose.
      General rule of thumb if it has extended rests, and multiple of them, its active yeast.
      Instant is well more instant.
      If everything I said is wrong I’m incredibly sorry. Enjoy your baking 💖

    Great recipe, you can melt the butter and brush it over so there isnt so much used, it still gives you the fluffy layering.

    Can you make this whole wheat? That’s too much butter, do you have to use that much? ? This can only be breakfast bread, if you stay up all night making it. It’s more like lunch bread.

  • @edennis8578
    @edennis8578 2 года назад +3

    So what kind of a masochist gets up several hours before everyone else to make this for breakfast? Someone who doesn't need sleep? Someone with the energy of a superhero? Someone who gets breakfast done then goes back to bed?

    • @edennis8578
      @edennis8578 2 года назад

      By the way, that "10 minutes" to make is a big lie. After mixing the ingredients, you have to knead the dough, then let it rise for 45 minutes, then the prep, and the cooking takes 8 minutes each, so multiply that by how many you are making. I can add.

    • @yesta

      Somebody who enjoys baking for their family. Like most, I ready my dough the night before. Longer rise time which is good, and minutes of actually baking it.
