Aldo Ramirez, Despite not being mentioned in RDR directly by John, He does kind of Hint at Arthur as a part of his Youth and Outlaw Past.
They most likely just took the Same Coat Jack and John wore and tailored them to Arthur having worn em first in RDR2.

I've had RDR1 for about 8-9 years, and during all of my playthroughs I've never been able to play John as Low Honor. How hard he worked to make a better life for himself and his family, knowing all he ever did was wrong, and trying to make amends for it, I could never bring myself to make him act dishonorably. He fought hard for his redemption and earned it far more than any other character I've ever seen.

I've never play Red Dead Redemption (1) but this is a very sad scene. I like better than Arthur's in the sense that it's more of a "Let's remember the good things we did and the good times we had" song instead of Arthur's which is more like "I'm dying. I've learned the rights and wrongs. Now it's time to go home" Arthur's is more emotional in the sense that the day is done and it's time to go home. While John is more of a reminisce on his life as an outlaw, you know?

Rockstar games did this game damn good. so many people loved john marston's character and thats enough said. not only game play but the story line was what we all got hooked on to. it kept our attention and in the end we cared about this character so much that it actually upset many when he was killed. -but hear this. "he went out like a champ (not a coward)
and in the end his boy got his on that piece of shit law man. (i shot his deputy in the face and five others in dead eye before they unloaded on john)

    Rockstar,
give us RdR 3. To make this series into 3 games, the third serving as some resolution to Jack and many other existing supporting character’s stories, would be an artistic masterpiece. It’d not only make well above it’s budget, but I’d go as far to say that it could be one of the best trilogies in video games (ever).

They have all the oportunity in the world here. IMAGINE Jack joins the army in 1915-1916. Serve on the western front when US joins ww1. He's in the trenches, or airforce! We have a game by rockstars during ww1 with Jack Marston. Rockstar has the oportunity to creat MASSIVE battle-scenes, chaos. And after the battles when Jack is with his buddies, he tells about his past...and boom: You are back in the camp at Horseshoe Overlook outside Valentine as little Jack Marston. All the good old characters are there, and you create the past of little Jack in the old west.
