I've read many books; seen many films and TV Shows; and played many games but Red Dead Redemption is one of the most beautiful stories ever told.

this song was perfect for Red Dead, John did all these deeds, gave them everything he had, and that one day, it all rained down on him...and then is son's hand is upon Johns gun "Dead Mans Gun", the song itself if beautiful...great game, great story.

This game was honestly one of the most beautiful games ever created by rockstar, the whole element of John being forced into killing his old best friends and seeing the west slowly die around him such a sense of beauty.
All the manly tears
Isn't it marvelous how a piece of music can be used as a time machine? I played this song again today, November 2018. It was eight years ago that I played Red Dead Redemption. One 3rd of my life ago. And yet, the instant I heard the first words of the song, shivers rushed down my spine and I traveled back to being John Marston and all the memories and emotions came.rushing back. Music is such a wonderful thing. And so are video games. RIP John.
I'm not ashamed to say this game is the first and only game that made me cry.

I just finished the "Remember my Family" quest. When the credits started rolling and this track started playing I let loose a single tear.
I don't think I've ever been more emotionally invested in a video game before. Red Dead Redemption is a piece of art.

Deadman's Gun
After finishing red dead 2, I got red dead 1 and turned on my ps3 after so many years. I got spoiled by the ending of red dead 1 but I still got waves of emotions after finishing it. Rockstar puts in everything, the graphics, the music, the story, the writing, all of it, it's unbelievable.
Hollywood films don't have soundtracks this good.
