- No one had uploaded a full version using the higher quality theme from the 1994 PC game, so I decided to make one. It has the higher quality theme for the first 32 seconds, and then the lower quality full theme for the rest of it.
I already downloaded the lower quality full theme a while back, but special thanks go to Max13460 for the credits video with the higher quality theme and to creed90952 for the video I got the screenshot from (recorded from GSN)!

The best WOF theme. A mixture of jazz fusion and new jack swing. A little bit of Stanley Clarke, Kenny G, Russ Freeman, and Ricky Lawson.

Yep, and because of that I just had to use it in me and my brother's Speakonia dub of the Rugrats episode "Chuckie is Rich" during Pat Sajak's appearance, as a semi-reference to that (since Pat Sajak's "Rugrats" guest appearance was around the same time as Vanna White's "Full House" appearance).

The name of the WoF theme was "Changing Keys", Dan. And I agree with you and Jarvis, all of the "Changing Keys" themes were much better and more suitable for WoF than the theme we currently have now.
Good news, they're using a newer version of Changing Keys now

Merv used his talk show band (the Mort Lindsey Orchestra) to record his game show themes, so the saxophone player was in all likelihood Plas Johnson. I don't remember who the guitar player was, but he also did the Headline Chasers theme solo.
This theme music was heard on a episode of "Full House" titled "The Test" (airdate: January 25, 1994).

I really wish they'd go back to using this classic theme - the later ones are OK but are not as exciting or exhilarating as this one.
Maybe in a decades week 1990s in season 38 they can do that.

The last good theme makes me wanna ROCK ON! This will always be along the lines of the theme of my version. I may add some elements here and there to keep it fresh, but going late 1994 and beyond ain't gonna happen for....
Christian Dixie Yeah, the '97 theme may not have been as good as the ones used from 1983 to 1994, but at least it still had some elements that were more noticably reminiscent of those themes than the 1994 theme did.

***** Oh, don't you worry about that. I do have some fondness for the 1997 theme. In fact, I feel it has more resemblance to the 1983-1994 themes than the 1994-1997 theme does.

1992-1994, 1997-2000 and the 1989-1992 *Bongo version* are indeed my top 3. I just wished they'd released a full HD quality 1992 complete theme and the FULL THEME of the 1994-1997

Best "Wheel of Fortune" theme ever! It'd be funny if they actually played this when Pat Sajak guest-starred on "Rugrats", the way they did for Vanna White's guest appearance of "Full House" around that time.

I feel that this was the only theme that actually sounded good during the intro. It actually fit very well with the intro graphics that went with it. Why doesn't the leader of the sound department just release full versions of this theme and the 1994-1997 theme with full quality?
Actually that 1994-1997 theme, IMO, should've only been used for when Wheel visits Las Vegas. They should've continued with this until 1997. JMO.

This theme music was also used on an episode of the hit abc comedy series Full House called "The Test" when Danny & Aunt Becky introduced Vanna White to see how Kimmy Gibbler & D.J. Tanner did on their S.A.T.'s
Kimmy got a Perfect Score and won a trip to Standford while D.J. did not so hot and won a trip to Clown U and then, Vanna appeared as a teacher named Mrs. Moffatt anybody remember that episode?
and BTW, Wheel was still Recorded at CBS Television City in HOLLYWOOD until 1995

I wish that never happened. The least could have done was keep the 1989-1992 and 1992-1994 Themes intact like they did during Seasons 10 and 11. That made more since.
