Hello, And Merry Christmas! The Video That Was Delayed 4 Days Is Finally Here! Welcome To The Evolution Of Jeopardy! By Far The Most Famous Game Show Of All Time. The Original Jeopardy Ran From 1964 - 1974, And It Was Hosted By Art Fleming (1924 - 1995) And Announced By Don Pardo (1918 - 2014). Art Also Hosted The Jeopardy From 1978-79, That Version Being Announced By John Harlan (1925 - 2017). The Current Version Of Jeopardy Started In 1984, Being Hosted By The Great Alex Trebek (1940 - 2020) And Announced By Johnny Gilbert (b. 1928). After Alex's Death, The Show Was Hosted By Mike Richards (b. 1975) In 2021, And The 2 Current Hosts Are Ken Jennings (b. 1974) & Mayim Bialik (b. 1975). There May Be A Few Mistakes, Since I Recorded This Late. But, Enjoy!

My Mom was on one of the earliest Jeopardy shows in either the summer or fall of 1964 when she was pregnant with my older brother. I'd love to get a copy of that even if it just shows the introduction.

No problem! Can't Find Most Of Them On RUclips, Pluto TV Is Where I Got Them, You Can View The Full Episodes There.
They changed the scoreboards on the original Jeopardy in 1966 so that they would be easier to read! There was room for four numbers following the dollar sign, and the plus (or minus if below zero) sign, and the numbers always were placed towards the right side, even if the score is under $+1000 (lol)! The plus was retired in 1984.

I will never forget about Alex Trebek.
R.I.P. 1940 - 2020.
He lived for 80 years, so he hosted the show at age 44, running for 36 years.
Since 2020, his replacement is Ken Jennings and he is a fine host, same goes for the hostess, Mayim Bialik.
I do love that the show have the three contestants' names customized, and those are so amazing.
I think Ken hosting was the best choice. Ken is the most successful Jeopardy! contestant on record. He played 75 games and won 74 of them. Mayim Bialik used to host, but Ken is the official, only, permeant host now.
Jeopardy has never been the same without Alex rest easy Alex thank you for giving us a great gameshow and a childhood.

Metallic Set was in use from November 25, 2002 to July 24, 2009
