Originally released on the Scorpion King soundtrack in 2002, "I Stand Alone" was later released on Godsmack's Faceless album in 2003. Dwayne Johnson (The Rock), who starred in the movie, is in the video.

I'm a huge fan of godsmack. Haven't heard much of their new stuff but they're so badass. Saw them in concert in 2004 with metallica nuff said.
I just love Godsmack and have ever since they came out, Awesome band and you have to hear Cry'in Like A B***h.
This song was actually written for the scorpion king soundtrack, it references actual things in the movie. It’s one of the reasons I bought that soundtrack (which happens to be great!) another great Godsmack song is running blind, but it’s on the opposite scale as this. It’s mellow and acoustic but it’s amazing!!!

I love Godsmack. They have a cool tribal rhythm and groove to a lot of their songs. If you want an obscure cover they did check out their cover of Easy-E's Boyz N Tha Hood.

I think this is my favorite Godsmack song. It's from The Scorpion King, one of if not THE first movie with Dwayne Johnson (The Rock). Decent movie, good soundtrack.
First off, whoever did these lyrics janked 'em all up! LOL But you have to go back and watch the video on your own time because you would NOT believe that voice comes out of Sully (he's a little, muscular, tatted dude)! I met him by chance outside of the music arena and was shocked at how small he was. INCREDIBLY TALENTED! I am a HUGE Godsmack fan.

Sully is a beast!! Not just as a vocalist/frontman, he's a wicked bad drummer as well. Check out the video of him and Godsmack's regular drummer in a live drum-off. And Yes! It does hit different through a good stereo system.......LOUD!! But where it's really best is live, with stacks of 18, 22, and sometimes 30 inch subs being pushed with thousands of watts from truckloads of amplifiers. Your body vibrates to the bass and drums. Godsmack puts on a great show. It would be a good hard rock show for y'all to catch.

They made some good music. I saw them open for Metallica once. i believe that's a seven string guitar, or either he's definitely tuned down if it's a six-string. Disturbed is another band in the genre of this type of metal, you guys are gonna like them.
GODSMACK IS ONE OF MY ALL TIME FAV BANDS!!!! FACELESS WAS THE FIRST ALBUM I HEARD AND WAS BLOWN AWAY. THE MAIN FACT FOR ME IS THAT SULLY IS A BADASS DRUMMER AS WELL AS GUITARIST AND FRONT MAN! ONE OF THE BEST VOCALS IN THE GENRE!
