This song hits me hard! Last time I seen my dad alive was Aug 11 on my bday and passed away Aug 12.. this is the song I play for him. I miss u dad love U! I know ur looking down on me! Still fighting and clawing to keep going everyday!

I love Godsmack and Sully Erna writes some amazing songs. I've seen them in concert and so much energy! He can play drums, piano, guitar, write songs, and sing lead vocals.

The drummer is friggin awesome. Mr. Shannon Larkin. Godsmack’s previous drummer was the one who got me into being a fan of watching drumming, Mr. Tommy Stewart. Check out any live video of Godsmack and playing their song - either Vampires or Awake with Mr. Stewart behind the drum kit (I think Awake could be what I’m trying to think of, but my memory stinks). You won’t be sorry for checking it out because the dude can drum. Also, just simply type in “Godsmack drum battle” and you’ll see the vocalist (Mr. Sully Erna) have a drum battle with Mr. Larkin (Although I think that started between Sully and Tommy a long time ago). Yeah I love me some Godsmack. Been a fan since I was a kiddo.

This song is very special to me, because it was introduced to me by a sweet young woman, who lived in Donetsk, Ukraine; a dear girl, whom I became very close to, over the year and a half I communicated with her via the internet. I fear that she passed away late last year (2020), shortly after she was admitted into a hospital in Donetsk. The last message I received from her was November 11, 2020, the same day that she went into the hospital, after having suffered a severe mental break with psychosomatic complications. This was a result of her finding out that a close female friend of hers had committed suicide. Lilium was a gifted, sensitive 23 year old woman, who lived on the other side of the world from me, and yet I felt closer to her than I do to my next door neighbor. I miss her terribly, and I pray that she has found peace and mercy in her final sleep .....
