- Channel Four start-up from Wednesday 7 December 1988, after a morning of ITV Schools previews. Includes a rare repeat of their launch film, featuring the Four Score music, which was first shown on 2 November 1982. Not sure why they dragged this out as a filler - it wasn't a special occasion or anything - but I was delighted I happened to have the VCR running when they did!
There was an ad-break between the schools previews and this start-up sequence. Quick glimpse of a VT clock at the start as well. - Развлечения
I think it might have been a little private tribute to Jeremy Isaacs who was handing Channel 4 and the post of Chief Executive over to Michael Grade at that time.
Classy. C4 have been great at break bumpers and indents
@mistofoles I'm sure it was a film that was shown during the first month or so of Channel Four in 1982. Most of the clips are from early shows or films on the channel.
@mistofoles Actually, I think the film was called The Disappearance of Harry, and produced by Channel Four.

Not sure about any of these, but that woman @ 3:03 was Annette Crosbie, better known as Victor Meldrew's wife from "ONE FOOT IN THE GRAVE". No idea what the show was, though.
I wonder why?
Oh well, that was Channel 4 for you.
