- Are robots taking over the mowing industry? We got a chance to demo the new Autonomous Wright Stander ZK and put it to the test. This is going to be a game changer for landscaping businesses, as it allows for a more efficient use of time. Zach walks us through how it works, as well as the pros and cons.
PLEASE NOTE: All prices mentioned in this video were accurate at the time of filming, but have since changed. For accurate pricing, please contact your local Wright dealer.
I'm still stuck 45k is quite a bit and the guy I would have would still be able to weedeat and blow and trim shrubs I don't know if I had extremely large properties I would say hell yeah
Great video, solid explanations, and that's one great looking lawn.
Great idea. Always practice safety i use mowing with a breeze eye protection and filtered air.
Great explanation!
You're killing jobs mr. Wight this kind of s*** makes me not want to buy another wright mower ever again
Great Video. What's your set up for mic and camera? Your wireless mic is really clear.
We used an iPhone 14 Pro Max and a wireless bluetooth mic from CKOKC on Amazon for this video!
I have a question will it remember yards once it's mowed them one time. Like can I punch in the address where we are and it will know the yard?
Yes it does have a memory function, so when you go back to that property it will remember the yard and can start automatically! Also since this video came out, pricing has gotten better.
@@kubotaoflynchburg thanks for replying what is the new prices 36" 48" I have a Kubota now a couple actually
It was over for me at 12,000 a year.
I heard they scrapped that. That was a no for me also as im up in Canada and we only mow 6 months a year
AI + Robo + GPS = a new industry is being born. A few more years and ai will make better mowing decisions than a human while mowing. Plus, there are presently 1000s of garage tinker designers who can't wait and are working on this around the world. It's going to happen and be a reasonable price.
$12k a year for software, ffs, mowers don't run for 12 months of the year.
So what happens when it rained a day or two prior & gets stuck in the muddy grass????
That literally cost the same amount of money as it would cost me to hire an employee $34,000 plus $12,000 a year comes out to roughly what one of my employees would make in a year that's not cost saving
It's new technology wait another 10 years and these will be way cheaper
@@wcovey25I’d argue you don’t want it to be cheaper if you want people to have jobs
No workers comp, no health insurance
You basically made there argument for them. It pays for itself in 1 season. No workers comp or insurance and doesn't call in sick!🤷
would take you all day trying to make money with this thing
Tts not faster... And if it breaks down - I still need a replacment and an opperator.
Millennials going crazy right now
Just an update: The price has dropped. It's 45,999 and that's it. No subscription for 3 years. If you want to buy it without the bundle, subscriptions are starting at $200/month instead if $1,000.
1200 a month for the service seems pretty steep
$1000 per month x 12
45k and it’s not as fine tuned as my rumba. 😬
how many ilegals are going to be out of work do to this?
Not many people have 40 grand to drop on a mower so the illegals will be fine.
Not necessarily they'll move to the Factory's building them😂❤
Smoking the good stuff wanting a 1000 a month sub lmao
if thats a perfect line, my clients would fire me.
this is going to put a lot of landscapers out of work.
No it won’t
I agree
I prefer to use my own judgment, and ride. Yes I could be sitting on a lawn chair and do nothing while making money sure but every system has flaws. Those flaws cost money.
That's not the purpose. Lol
After 6 hours of sweat intense laboring? Double it and give it to the next person
ONLY $34,000...hell I'll take 2 for my 2 acres...
Nice dump truck in the background there
That is not cost effective one bit
It's ruining the stripes the way it went around the tree.
People want to work. Just not for poverty wages. That’s why good employees are hard to find. They’re tired of working their ass off for trash money. So tired of hearing this.
More jobs lost to robots. Just how is this a good thing?
Yup for owners
Far too expensive
And who gets sued when it runs over a costomers child?
The parents of the child for allowing them to be outside on the grass when you know you're getting your lawn cut
You cant use this as a human mow. The controls are electronic and as light as a PS5 controller. Lol
But nice try "Salesman".
Overpriced overrated nonsense
great way to become fat and lazy Mr. Wall-E
