MISSED APPROACH/GO AROUND!! Singapore Airlines SQ974 SIN-BKK Landing

9V-SSI, A330, Seat 12A. It appears to be an early flare and perhaps slightly too fast resulting in a bit of float down the runway. Just my guess. Will upload the second approach for comparison. This was the 6th go around I've experienced...2 UN flights (SPU, SJJ), 2 BA (JFK, LHR), 1 CX (HND), and now 1 SQ (BKK).

Yes because the slow spool up only occurs at ground below 50 knots.

@@jason4124 The Rolls-Royce Trent 700 on the A330 has a system called MEASTO (Modified Engine Acceleration Schedule for TakeOff) which controls the engine acceleration. It also has KOZ (Keep Out Zone), that basically stops it from dwelling at certain RPMs.
Both these functions prevent various issues, including a fan stall.
It is not engaged by the computer above a certain speed as it no longer becomes an issue in that part of the operating envelope.

What a cool go around!!!! I had only 2 my self PHX-SAN on WN and SJU-CLT on US... But this by far out off all the ones I seen on RUclips this one is the best!!! THAT SOUND!!!!!
