I did this. Thanks for the video. Absolutely works. I anchored it with screws and at dusk I watched 6 bats fall out in 5 minutes and fly away. The rest took longer but must have been over 20 bats in one night. Later they would fly back but couldn’t get in. I can hear them inside and it does take a few days as it seems not all the bats leave at once. Thanks

Nicely done! I just hope you are waiting until the colony has dispersed before adding these. Most colonies are maternity colonies (mothers with pups). You do not want to leave the pups stranded inside the building. Waiting until the fall to do this work is best. All the bats are flying by early fall - and can escape the building. Be sure to pick a period when the evening temperatures are still warmer than about 10C.

Thank you so much! I've got birds...
For the past 2 months I thought I had been hearing 'light' sounds in my attic at night... (Either that or I was losing my mind... :)
Just today I was watching one of my security cameras--at the right time--... 2 birds were going in & out of a hole in my soffit!
I just finished covering it with screening HOPING both were out as it seemed as I was watching...
If i still hear sounds, I'll be using your method.
    Thanks again.
