How to get rid of rats 🐀 in a mobile home 🏡
in this video I walk you through the 4 steps of removing rats from a manufactured mobile home.
The principles are the same as removing rats from any building, but the specifics are a little bit different.
Step 1, close any entry points (typically a home wrap)
Step 2, snap traps in crawl space
Step 3, Bait Stations outside home
Step 4, Disinfect and remove pheromones
Comment with any questions.
Good luck with your rat removal project! 🐀🐀🐀

After installing the Metal Mesh around the base of the Mobile Home, what happens when you have to fix pipes or spray underneath because of ants. I love the Metal Mesh, but I am just concerned about plumbing repairs. I do I quickly get access to the pipes?
How do you fog between the subfloor and the plastic under the house??
What was the spray foam you use ?
links to the fogger and the two things of solution?
What foam is used?
Thanks Rick, do you know of anyone in the Northeast (Connecticut)? This is exactly what our mobile home needs. No luck with Angi or Orkin. Hard to find qualified people like you. Thanks for helpful video!
Thanks, you pointed out a few things and products that helped me flesh out my plan. Terminex wanted $10k to do a whole exclusion plan. I was like nope.
You disappeared after those videos. How can I contact you?
Are you a commercial contractor to get rid of mobile home pests? Do you have business in Bradenton, Florida area? If you do how can I contact you? My mobile has exact the same problems like this video. Can you please help me? 😅
Thank you man I actually excluded some bats
I did this. Thanks for the video. Absolutely works. I anchored it with screws and at dusk I watched 6 bats fall out in 5 minutes and fly away. The rest took longer but must have been over 20 bats in one night. Later they would fly back but couldn’t get in. I can hear them inside and it does take a few days as it seems not all the bats leave at once. Thanks
Amazon links for foggers??
Thank you very much. Nice job!
Can I fog to get rid of the rats in my trailer walls?
Nicely done! I just hope you are waiting until the colony has dispersed before adding these. Most colonies are maternity colonies (mothers with pups). You do not want to leave the pups stranded inside the building. Waiting until the fall to do this work is best. All the bats are flying by early fall - and can escape the building. Be sure to pick a period when the evening temperatures are still warmer than about 10C.
That's exactly what I want to do.
So grateful!
Cant even reply to a few comments that are good questions! What an a hole
I did the entire skirting with metal roofing that i pop riveted together and barried 2in at minimum under ground. Those bastards still fimd ways under the home. Thats why I'm here
Can you mix those two chemicals together?
This is by far the best video on this subject and I've watched a lot of them. Excellent job.
Thank you so much! I've got birds... For the past 2 months I thought I had been hearing 'light' sounds in my attic at night... (Either that or I was losing my mind... :) Just today I was watching one of my security cameras--at the right time--... 2 birds were going in & out of a hole in my soffit! I just finished covering it with screening HOPING both were out as it seemed as I was watching... If i still hear sounds, I'll be using your method. Thanks again.
I have cats that live outside, so even though the insulation was shot all to hell a long time ago I at least don't have trouble with mice underneath the house. I do have them in the ceiling of the trailer though and I am unsure how I can get to them so I can kill them or get them to leave.
About how much is the cost does your company charge for this on a small single wide mobile home?
Do you guys cover any of Pasco county?
how much does a service like this cost, and where are you located?
Do you fog the attic as well as the crawl space? Do you need to remove all insulation?
What did you make that out of? Or is it sold like that? Something like that is probably my last option before my torch I use for flat roofs makes a new bbq squirrel recipe, like a Cedar and pine smoke with a fiberglass crust, and a silicone glaze, served on a soffit panel ... The neighbors dogs will love it
Hey so I live in a mobile home in Georgia and we’ve been seeing a lot of mouse/rat poop everywhere in my daughters room, inside kitchen cabinets by the windows and even on beds what did you use to get rid of them it doesn’t show what you used in the description box please answer this for me im desperate I have a two little girls and this is stressing me out even makes me want to sell this property and move elsewhere lol im not used to this I always lived in regular houses
Im a former carpenter, u need to close all holes from outside leading to living quarters. We also live in mobilehome, & had 2 episodes of water damage from rats. Upon putting out poison also put out dishes of water. The poison dehydrates rats, they get thirsty. & they startooking for water...chew on waterlines. & then address the skirting. I plan to underpin w brick eventually. Also if u have cats could help but dont use poison. Google how to rid rodents w nonpoisons. Bakingsoda & cornmeal. Rodents carry bad germs, etc.
Poisons, traps,& baitboxes available at Tractor Supply.
@@erwinbrubacker7488What about cedar wood underpinning? Will that work?
Thank You!!!
Wish you guys were in South FL. Anyways thanks for all the valuable info.
How about sanitation? People need to clean their homes. You didn't say much about that.
I clean my home and fall of 2020 I had a mouse I couldn't get rid of and this time my daughter says she saw a rat. I've never had a rat before. I'll be showing my husband this.
Great setup! Thanks for sharing! I’m getting ready to make something similar since trapping is no longer an option.
