VLOG: My Port Placement Experience

Come along with me as I have surgery to get a port placed! I have several chronic illnesses, and my doctors and I decided that placing a port was the right next step to continue managing and treating my symptoms long-term. With my port, which offers permanent venous access, I’ll be able to get my infusions more often and will be able to do them at home. I will also be able to use my port for blood draws and IV meds.
