I have had my port placement because I have no IV access and I have been asked about it by many nurses and doctors. I was given the meds to help me with the pain and I have elhers danlos and they had to give me a little bit more pain meds but its almost been a month and I am so happy about having it. They were surprised that my pcp agreed to do it.
