There's almost nothing more cringey than a rejection in The Office - here's our favourites. From Jim and Pam rejecting one another to Ryan asking out Pam to Michael Scott asking out basically everyone, it's here.
From "The Office": an American television mockumentary sitcom broadcast on NBC. Created as an adaptation by Greg Daniels of the British series of the same name, it is a mockumentary that follows the day-to-day lives of the employees of the Scranton, Pennsylvania branch of Dunder Mifflin, a fictional paper supply company. The series stars Steve Carell as Michael Scott, John Krasinski as Jim Halpert, Jenna Fischer as Pam Beesly and Rainn Wilson as Dwight Schrute.

All of these are kind of funny. Except for Jim and Pam in the last one, that was truly heartbreaking

Tbh Karen was the best thing for Jim… think about it: she was ready to leave Scranton, she supported everything he did even when they were vying for the same job, let’s be clear she was hotter than Pam, she didn’t put him thru the bullshit like Pam did.

Honestly, after everything that happened the previous season, seeing Jim rejecting Pam was nice. She really thought she could reject the guy twice and still walk in like nothing happened.
I´m glad they finally got together at the end but it was a bit nice to see her feeling the same way he did.

Well, for starters, she was correct in her interpretation, so there's that.
But Ryan also said "wear something nice" before Pam said no. And talking business doesn't usually happen at dinner. That's more of a lunch scene. Especially when they also follow it up with, "I just wanted to have dinner" instead of, "I just wanted to talk about the designs."

I watched this show and it used to make me cringe a lot, after working in actual office for some time all of these bits are hilarious, just because of how sincere and accurate it is about romantic advances in the workplace.

I'll explain it as I see it, she acts indignant because she is aware and ashamed of herself and confused, so it's a "self defense mechanism" she's just trying to cope and not to die or keep going any further with Jim. Just like when a person is sad but they don't want to feel sad because they don't know how to handle that, so they just get angry and mad, but deep down they're just sad. Copying mechanisms are real and very interesting to study.

Nope, Ryan probably made that up. Cause when Jim was dating her Ryan mentioned an email asking her out which she denied.
Edit: That scene is in the video.
He reversed the roles, he actually sent Karen an email which he reveals in the episode where the men infiltrate the women's bathroom. Then, later in the show, switches the roles to look good in front of Kelly when they're arguing in the annex.
