- Here are some times the whole of The Office actually really needed Michael Scott (Steve Carell). Wholesome!

Michael Scott: the embodiment of "even a broken clock is right twice a day"
It’s sad because he is a good person in heart but sometimes he goes overboard… a inability to express himself properly or maturely but yet his true kindness always pulls through when the office needed it the most… beautifully written character and fantastic actor
@@munchingasian2698 I dont think he is a good person, he is racist, sexist and has these weird thoughts about his coworkers. I still think he has "good heart" for only helping someone in need but sometimes still doesnt do it selfless. But that time he supports Pam, or Erin, i still cant say if he does it because he is a "good" man or because those are women
When he went to Pams art show he wasnt trying to get with her, nor was he trying to make ger feel good. He just wanted to see what one of his employees created. He made a big deal out of the office painting because it meant something to him. Thats why that scene felt so genuine.
@@alexs5368 that doesnt say a thing about the other weird and bad stuff he's done lol
Absolutely
"Toby is the instruction card you throw away" was kinda a drag ngl lol he got em good with that one 😂
Pretty interesting thou, Michael being the joker, he obviously would hate the rules card, just like in the office
Gret analogy@@ubuedro
cringe
@@iamapokerface8992you have an old meme as a pfp
The boat scene was when Michael started being everyone’s favorite.
His "Never, ever, EVER give up." line pulled me out of a really tough time I was in working a shitty job.
Nah. I think it was when he showed up for Pam's art exhibition.
That advice could just prolong your suffering and depression, though
@@nthgthThat's because it's Michael. Not exactly the best source of advice.
@@cykakto2099 that's pretty much what I mean
The scene where Phyllis accidentally calls Jim "Michael" is such a fantastic scene to motivate Jim in the later seasons, it's crazy.
18:28 "That is our building and we sell paper." Ricky Gervais could never in a million billion years deliver that line in such a poignant and genuine manner as Steve did.
Exactly!! Steve Carell was the perfect Michael Scott, nobody else could've done better
while i agree with this, i think its only fair to give Ricky credit,
i think he actually is surprisingly good at delivering serious lines when necessary.
thats really because its a different michael scott, Michael in the first season of the american office wouldnt have said that line to begin with.
Ricky is the original Michael Scott, they're both different versions of Michael Scott.
@@beigefedora9716Yeah. And in his version of Michael Scott, he didn't have to... his character was intentionally obnoxious with no self-awareness just like Carrell's Michael in the first episodes of the US show.
I sometimes look up to this character, sometimes i don't.
you can get rid of the last part
This sounds like something that he would say haha
Michael putting effort into everyone's birthday makes it kinda sad that nobody did for him. I know he can be a pain but still
"BFD, engaged ain't married"
- Michael scott.
The best worst boss anyone could ever ask for. He dumps gas on the fire with the biggest of hearts lol
The Pam art show scene was so emotional
When Michael is genuine he is a great person.
The art show one was the best one
"Oscar is my queen, come in give me a hard one. That's what Oscar said" is crazy 😂
It kills me how everyone in the regional manager office starts to hate Toby
Hes a terrible HR rep.
Lol
You start to understand Michael… and then you get scared 😢😊
He isnt even part of his family
David Wallace hates his own HR too 🤣
Jims birthday plan is the most soulless he's ever been.
2:05 that’s a beautiful && brilliant analogy, one parents has to keep the family together with planning and control, and the other keeps it all together with laughs and funny games.
And that's how at the end... "That's what she said" made me cry
“Ryan is a two..but sometimes twos can be wilds so watch out!” Ryan becomes his boss eventually
Ryan became his boss then arrested for fraud before Michael said that
Michael is my absolute favorite character ever, he is sometimes so right and most of the time so blind, i love that.
Phyllis is my Old Maid
Oscar is my Queen
Toby is the instruction card that you throw away 😢😂😢😂😢😂
Let’s not forget Michael Showing the camera his Best Boss mug in the pilot, which he admitted he bought himself. One big birthday was one of Jim’s worst ideas. That’s what she said
Seen these clips hundreds of times and i still get teary eyed and smiley 😅
real! im going to cry myself to sleep tonight (again) hoping i meet a friend like him someday :')
Jim's face when Pam says "God gave me this dundie" is just so sweet
The first clip of the bankruptcy episode should teach you something. If something seems certain and there is nothing you can do about it. Why worry?
Hot take. Jim was a bad manager. You will never convince me otherwise.
Not a hot take. He didn't know how to manage properly, and since he always avoided problems, he wasn't rude or firm with the people in the office. Total chaos.
Dwight's weird but he's just so good at commanding people.
...Okay. Cool? Then why bother making this comment?
@@senorsnout4417okay cool then why bother making YOUR comment
I’m freezing actually
He's the worst
Andy always singing when no one wants and then finding Michael’s singing revolting.
Michael is the The Office.
7:10 “that’s what she said” -Michael Scott
I once worked as a supervisor at a small design studio where I managed and led a team of 12. Most of my life, I’ve struggled to understand even the simplest concepts of things and have eventually come to create my own definitions to understand and make my life easier. After 10 years working as a supervisor, I discovered a show called The Office because I come from a humble background of a traditional Indian family so I didn’t have access to leisure that much back in the day. But thanks to smartphones now, I finally watched The Office and immediately realised that I am not alone, at least someone in the world have imagined such a character in real life situations could even exist, relived me from so much stigma I carried all these years that I was immature. Now I have finally learned to accept my self as I am. Maybe, we’re all Michael deep inside in a way. If we have enough courage to completely let go of our ego, Michael Scott becomes a reality.
No one cares
relax@@PepeDeezNutz
That's so good to hear! Yes, I agree that maybe we all have a Michael inside us. Thank you for sharing your story!
@@turquoisetingthat's what she said
That's awesome man, media connecting everyone
My fav part when he supported Pam …I felt deep in my heart for Pam
It is just so hypocritical when Jim is complaining about office time being wasted
He says he only goofs off when things are good. I.e. not when they need to fight for their jobs
The office needed michael more than ever after season 7
“Give me a hard one”
“That’s what Oscar said”
Idk how out of all of the hundreds of times I’ve watched this show I missed that joke
1:18 that's a brilliant joke. Jim says he's skipping past the 'what' and asks 'why', and Michael actually answers the 'what', only he says 'because' at the beginning of the phrase.
before the scene with michael singing happy birthday, should have put in the part in the woods where michael realized it was creeds birthday
No idea where creed came from 😂
imagine if the video was just all the seasons w/o Michael compressed
Wow John's acting when talking to Michael on the boat is amazing. Always makes me tear up
Dwight's wedding. EVERY FREAKIN TIME!
now i see Michael management style, he tries to keep morale up by small things, sure sometimes his employees find him annoying, and he screws up most things, but he's gone everybody felt it, because michael genuinely care about them, even makes parties for everyone and makes budget expense for it, thats how he cares, and you only felt it when its gone
18:00 my favorite 🥲🥹
3:05 The singer in Andy looking at Micheal hitting that high note! 😂
okay so
i genuinely never saw the issue with adding Toby into the party.
he didn't even ask for anything specific, and we all know this was his only chance to get even a vague excuse of a party.
4:57 best impression 😂😂😂😂
“Games have the power to distract people from stressful situations“….” Big picture stuff, this is about murder”
The rare Jim raising his voice
and Michael shutting it down real quick 💯
I've never seen a show like this ❤❤❤
Michael Scott is that annoying friend that won't leave you and do it's best to light up your day
3:02 i never noticed angela breaking😂
Michael's gonna be a great father according to this...
Just looked it up out of curiosity. Rainn Wilson is FOURTEEN YEARS older than Jon Krasinski. I know the characters are much closer in age, but the man who plays Dwight really is “significantly older” than the man who plays Jim. Steve Carell is only three years older than Rainn Wilson. Thats wild to me.
Just looked up the characters’ dates of birth and michael is 1965, dwight is 1970, and jim is 1978, so the show still has a bigger gap between jim and dwight than dwight and michael, but the dynamics certainly dont make it seem that way lol
"World's best boss"
there's only ever one thing I can say with my whole chest about Michael: the man would make an _excellent_ dad. not a father, a DAD.
Micheal’s face when Pam caught him before he started his singing joke 😂😂 like that is GRADE A ACTING !!!
I am so glad... Out of all the sitcoms I decided to watch the office ❤❤❤
It's such a simple line but Michael telling Ryan he can't have more time is *chef's kiss*
“That’s what Oscar said” 😭😭😭
He may not be best at his job but he is definitely supportive and attuned to others' problems
7:20 this reminds me of my job. Sitting or standing and openly talking to the supervisor. My old job. We'll see how it goes.
First time I heard Jim raise his voice!
The art show always gets me😭
8:38 yes, lazy with a great memory. 👍
I don’t remember that interaction 1:42. I must not have watched the bankruptcy episode or arc or whatever. God there’re so many episodes lol. And Jim is actually a bad boss 😂😂
17:35 still my favorite Michael moment.
Best scene was always the one of Michael supporting Pam. After all the times he did something that annoyed me (as a character) that scene made me so happy. I think the one I hated was the Scotts Tots episode. Felt bad for those kids
And we sell paper …
Most days I just sit and wait for the break😂😂😂😂
I love the no Michael here my name is..... KALEB! So funny the way Jim is very angry but still uses the fictional name
"nothing! we are talking about nothing! c'mon gang!"
*creed leaves...and only creed leaves 😂
That’s what Oscar said is crazy 😂😂😂😂
6:06 😭😭😭😭😭
I think Jim knows about the "that's what she said" but anyway he asks and get suprised
You're Welcome guys.
The art show scene was Michael’s true color. Even tho he is sometimes the most obnoxious person in the room, he is still the best.
Pam is so cute
When Kevin is beating Dwight with the blow up doll (never thought i would ever type something like that) you can see Angela laughing (which is out of character)
Pam-caso
Steve carrel is the funniest man on the planet
Closing the deal at chili's
Pam : “let’s give Michael a round of applause…because this is a lot harder than it looks”
Me: “That’s what she said”
Hey everyone, wanted to know what does PAM meant when she asked Michael if he had something in his pocket. 18:59
she thought it was Michael... if you know what I mean!
it's more like a " The Family "
I mean Oscar’s boyfriend wasn’t wrong about Pam’s art…motel art AT BEST…the mug, the vase of flowers, really pretty much all of it up there was like 8th-9th grade beginners visual art class stuff
It’s not that bad. It’s mean to say out loud too
BFD. Engaged ain't married.
I love the scene when Michael compliments her art. Art snobs are the worst!
Why did Jim call Michael, Caleb when they were reenacting the murder scene?
If someone could explain if Michael's middle name is Gary
Caleb was his character's name in the mystery game they were playing
The game wasn't even in the cabinet 🧐
Blud got the title wrong 🤭
Not crack the drug
😂😂😂
I took 13:07 personal
Jim pisses me off so much. He goes from being the office bully who thinks he’s the class clown to a guy who takes his job too seriously.
Jim and Pam were the worst.
He really wanted them sloppy thirds.
@@rohandsouza3563After watching the show again and again Pam and Jim make me cringe😂
Angela is really hot in the middle seasons. 2:23

Michael who looks nice but can be offensive
Jim immature and some what of a jerk
Dwight dear sweet innocent Dwight so pure so simple I know he wouldn’t do something so kooky he couldn’t
1: helpful
2: kinda helped
3: Jim told him what to do
4: not his place to get involved in another persons relationship and shouldn’t advise going after an engaged woman
5: he “saved” them from a problem he created due to his obsession with Ryan
6: going to the art show is one of the best things he did
7: nice to be there for Dwight
People evaluating caricature characters is always a snooze fest🤣 like yea it is his place to tell jim not to give up on engaged pam, context helloooo
Michael also knew Pam & Roy had been engaged forever and that Jim & Pam had chemistry.
Season 1 Michael Scott was way too much like the British Michael Scott. They had to humanize him a bit to keep us watching.
