Michael siding with Dunder Mifflin over Jan was so refreshing because he'd finally seen her and the relationship for what it was. She was so focused on what she wanted that she didn't care about the effects it had on him, and in trying to prove that Dunder Mifflin didn't respect him she actually proved that she didn't. This whole storyline saw her going out of her way to tear Michael down just to build herself up.
Him siding with DM was still bad because what Jan thought of Micheal wasnt just thought by Jan. His branch was the best and they still treated him like a moron and were gonna cut his branch and him entirely which was only stopped by Josh leaving for Staples.
I always remembered Michael's "You expect to get screwed by your company. But you never expect to get screwed by your girlfriend."
And he deserves EVERY bit of it, for all the times he threw others under the bus and jeopardized their jobs, AND mental health
@@caleb-glennmarcus6887apparently most of the viewers here r stonecold business minded people. they dont care how Michael behaved majority of the time
The silent pregnancy discovery continues to be one of my all time favorite moments❤️Michael quitting so abruptly was such a surprise and I truly respected him at that moment. Not shown or mentioned, but the entire Broke episode was an hilarious act of redemption
Which "Broke" episode are you referring to? I don't have the time for a complete office rerun , so watching just the juiciest bits. 😄
@@rambot670 if you are just watching clips I am NOT taking time to explain it to someone like you. Try googling ‘The Office’ Broke and educate yourself
@@rambot670When Michael has monkey problems and tries to flee on a train but Jan consoles him in an uncharacteristically sincere way 😊
@@joshwhinnery6153WHAT episode are you talking about. Broke has entirely different plot line
@@joshwhinnery6153monkey problems?
Sorry I hate spelling correctors, but this has me laughing! 😂
Jims reaction on Pam being pregnant must be one of the most wholesome scenes ever. Wonderful! And what a great actor!
Andy stealing Jim’s proposal was actually so infuriating to me
There actually are people like that. They just can’t think of things
I mean its not like he did it on purpose, no one knew Jim was planning to propose
@@AYVYNit’s not like he knew??
5:00 Holly not moving a muscle. Who was ever better for Michael than her?
It's funny as heck you can tell Jim says "I gotta call Dwight" as like the second thing he says after he hears the news
another plot twist is when Holly finds out Kevin isn't actually special needs
The "All of us?" line never fails to kill me
This video proves again that Steve Carell and John Krasinski are very fine actors... Their reactions to situations looks so spontaneous, which made me fall in love with this show...
Matter of fact, all of The Office cast are really good actors 🙌
Every time I watch the office I realize how many jokes I missed the first time 😂
I have the same feeling, but after 10 watches
What David did to Michael for Jan's job was bad, sure - but the intent to at least give Michael hope was well founded, I think. Yes, Michael is absolutely not corporate material; but out of respect to his years of service, it was good to let him be a contender regardless how low.
This wouldn't be as good if it wasn't in comparison to how Jan has treated Michael.
I think that's noted in his responses when they read them to Michael. He knows what they're trying to get him to say and does his best to avoid saying it. I know it could be argued that he's trying to save face in record but I believe he truly likes Michael, even if he doesn't totally understand him.
Jim’s learning Pam’s pregnant and Michael’s last day are 2 of the most heartfelt moment in TV history.
The third one is the bestest mensch scene
I remember watching the office with my mom when i was a kid every thursday and the moment Jim's eyes widened she called out that Pam was pregnant
What a genius.
I thought it was pretty crappy of David Wallace leading Michael on about the corporate job already knowing that he wasn't going to pick Michael. Cuz you find out when they're dealing with Jan trying to sue them that David was never seriously considering Michael for the corporate position
It was a courtesy to Michael. Had they not invited him to interview while doing so with Jim, Karen, and Ryan, he might have made a furor over being snubbed and possibly quit.
i love jim's reaction when they find pam's pregnant!!
Jim’s acting for when Pam is pregnant is AMAZING
Aside from the main cast I love David Wallace, but Darryl and and Creed fight for my number one spot.
1:13 Send in the subs. Tell me Pam's pregnant without telling me Pam's pregnant.
4:14 that would’ve been so fine by me
3:09 David selected Ryan over Jim or Karen? 🤔🤢😖Or even Micheal in his Hilary Clinton outfit? Talk about poor decision making at the corporate level.
I think David likely offered Jim the job, but he declined. In future episodes you could see that David valued Jim.
Jim was the top contender but he withdrew his name because he didn't want to leave Pam again
Jim withdrew his name and Karen most likely did too. I thought she left for another company...
@@Jasmine-re5zb She became branch manager at DM’s Utica office.
Why is the guy pretending to play the guitar when Andy proposes? 😅😅😅
What about the plot twist of Dwight being Philip's father?
That fast huh
Where's the Golden Ticket one?
Dam these comments are fresh, goodmorning everyone!
I felt so bad for michael about his promotion surrounding Jan and Ryan and David. I really couldn’t believe he sided with Dunder Mufflin.
4:04 always makes me laugh
.plot twist - dwight isnt the father of pams baby
double plot twist 💀
So now it's a crime to age
You misquoted Michaels misquote
First person Jim calls is Dwight 😢
Omgggg Pam is pregnant?!??!
This is basically a compilation of the only times that michael scott is respectable
That fast huh
The pregnancy is a little cliche twist just depends
pam getting pregnant was where the show started to go downhill for me.
it just felt way too soon. like it it took 3 seasons for them to get together, but only 2 for them to have a child together, pam's actor was pregnant but they hid Angela's pregnancy so it's not like they couldn't do it. i just think it was the start of the "downfall" of jim, from a more relaxed character to one that takes things more seriously and i think it hurt the show.
Dude pam's actor wasnt really pregnant the first time. It was the second time in season 8, when she was really pregnant. And btw, Angela's character was more of a background character in season 4. How can they make the lead actress hide her pregnancy- it's impossible.
Also i respect your opinion, ye the show might've gone downhill after season 5
@@jaydenluo2211 they hid black widow being pregnant throughout civil war so it’s very much possible. Especially because half the time Pam is sitting behind a desk
