I think it was a great idea not to try to replace Michael Scott like-for-like (because let’s face it, he’s irreplaceable), but rather bring in someone who created a completely different dynamic in the (O)ffice. My favourite bit with him was when you thought he was going to fuck Erin, but instead made sure she got home safely from the party. Because he was “a ride she wouldn’t survive.”
