I purchased this after watching your video and the reaction you guys had to it. Im blown away by the sound this all on one sub puts out and I still have all the cargo space in my SUV. Keep up the good work boys!
For anyone who is wondering how this sounds. They sound great... I was confused but finally have these and I’m thoroughly satisfied. Great clarity great bass and all the space.

My wheel sits flat so I didn't have any issues there but it's impressive to get this amount of bass from a spare tire sub while also having a full size spare. it came with a beats spare tire sub but this one absolutely decimated it in terms of performance!
Wow, that obesit Roomba thumps. an air pump, light, a charge port, and cables on it and they'll have a great item! nice to know your spare tire won't be lonely any more. THX JBL!!!
I don’t . I have an android radio so it has sub pre outs and a remote but you can still use it on a stock radio all you have to do is just tap into one of the rear speakers just for the signal and your golden and you can use the supplied remote to turn your bass up or down trust me your going to love it.
I just bought and had the Cerwin Vega unit installed in my VW Sportwagen. They literally look like the EXACT SAME PRODUCT!!! Same enclosure with some slight cosmetic differences. Exact same wired control. Yet a price difference of $100. ???
I have a '99 Suburban with the spare standing vertical in the back with the carpet cover on it. I'm going to explore if somthing like that would fit in there. Would be pretty sweet for not taking up space.

I have a 2019 Rav4 with the JBL Premium audio package. It comes with a Subwoofer in the trunk and Amp in the rear right passenger side. My question is would it be a good idea to buy this Bass hub? Would it be complicated to install with the stuff i already have?

Based on their other eye opening products, I'm going to trust this sub will perform as well. I've got a Polk 10" in there now but want my trunk space back. I can post back if you want...
How does this spare tire sub compared to its competitor, the Cerwin-Vega VPAS12ST? The latter is currently $320 while the JBL Basshub Pro is over a hundred dollars more at $460.
It is louder without tire, is sound better though without tire? I have that sub installed but no tire and I feel that sound is not soft enough, thinking to get a tire

I just bought and installed the Cerwin Vega yesterday. I'm very impressed. But I'm also confused. CV claims 200W on its website, but the owner's manual says 150W, as does the printing on the top of the sub itself. So I called CV and they said it in fact is 250W (???) and they need to update their literature and product label. Honestly I think the CV and the JBL are the ***exact same product*** with some different cosmetics for branding. Oh, and $100 less for the CV.
@@chrisw7642 I'm glad you like it. I don't think anyone will be disappointed. The shop that installed mine couldn't believe it put out the bass like it does for what it is. The JBL is a little taller. I'm glad I went with the CV as well because it barely clears in the hatch of my '05 Acura RSX Type S.
I just ordered this sub. I have never put a sub in any of my cars, Is it a possibly DIY project? Where can I find information about the wiring kit I need? Or is it worth it to just pay to have it installed?

So I called CV and they said it in fact is 250W (???) and they need to update their literature and product label. Honestly I think the CV and the JBL are the ***exact same product*** with some different cosmetics for branding. Oh, and $100 less for the CV.
@@chrisw7642 I'm glad you like it. I don't think anyone will be disappointed. The shop that installed mine couldn't believe it put out the bass like it does for what it is. I didn't realize CV put 200 on their site. Everything I saw was 150W. The JBL Bass Pro Hub spare tire hub does advertise and say 200W on it. That's very interesting what you found out. The JBL is a little taller. I'm glad I went with the CV as well because it barely clears in the hatch of my '05 Acura RSX Type S.
What kinda power connection is on that harness? Do you buy just standard power cables for setting up? Never seen a 16 gauge one tho.
10 awg. It's 4-16 awg cables to form the 10 awg. Same for the ground.
I just ordered this sub. I have never put a sub in any of my cars, Is it a possibly DIY project? Where can I find information about the wiring kit I need? Or is it worth it to just pay to have it installed?
just take it somewhere
@@darkjord5823 i actually did it myself. Hella easy
I have purchased a JBL bass pro spare tire subwoofer.... I'm having trouble adjust the bass it sounds distorted can you help me?
Awesome stuff! Lets see that woofer flex 🤨
I need you guys to do a comparison with the cerwin Vega spare tire sub which is about $100 cheeper.
I'm looking to down grade my sounds, however I love deep bass not punchy bass. I'm current running 1 15 sealed skar skr on 1000w kicker amp @2ohms. Would I be happy with something like this, or should I just keep the factory bose spare tire sub.
Y’all aren’t that far from me! Hopefully you can work on my car one day
cool video. answered some questions I had. probably best for those vehicle with full size spares and not donut/spacesaver spares...bass transcends all languages...
Fits in my spare donut.
A Space saver....Ah the Old Days.... BAZOOKAS Were the Thing 😄
Hi from Spokane Washington
Leonardo Mota what’s up from Tacoma
I have a sundown 12 with a 1000 wat amp could I add this to my setup?
Should’ve put the sub under the spare tire see if that makes a difference
Why didn't you guys review the 600W Stadium Bass-Hub instead?
If you were impressed with just 200W then 600W will blow your mind.
It was not out at the time
Is that Pedro from the Napoleon dynamite ?
Which option when trying to save cargo area in small suv? This spare tire sub under the floor or a high quality 8" in small sealed enclosure with 500 watt or so amp?
I would love to see you guys test out the Kicker TB enclosures and the Kicker L7 QB8. Keep them videos coming
The TB enclosure is amazing. Sold one that was installed in a jeep, and it plays clean and loud. im sure the QB8 is awesome too, haven't had a chance to hear that one yet
@@wadehensley5005 Does it really get as low as 25hz as advertised?
@@LeandroJack not sure what you mean by advertised, it may be in the response range
@@wadehensley5005 The frequency response on the specifications. I'm just trying to find out how low it can really go
I'm subscribing just to comment with Pedro quotes on every video 🤣
Why couldn’t you flip the tire over so it sits down in the rim?
So how did you guys set the gain ? by ears, or multimeter ?
Can you compare to the Pioneer version...
On to the next one!
Do you guys think it is worth installing this one instead of Audi a3 2016 original Audi sound system sub?( Original sub sounds kind of mid not sub) Thinking now to upgrade to something else .
