Enough with the African American thing. Do you call Caucasians Irish Americans? Polish Americans, German Americans? We're not second class citizens no matter how hard you try. We've never seen Africa other than on national geographics, so try saying Americans. It's okay just try it!

@ChroniclesoftheMotherland No we aren't. Went from negro to colored, to black then African American. All were terms handed out by society which isn't acceptable because someone says so. It's like calling you James when your name is Thomas, eventually you'll say my name isn't James if not right away. It's an attempt to insult one's intelligence!
